This is a Forge modpack for Minecraft 1.19.2, created for use in our private community server.
We are a group of friends that have been playing modded Minecraft on-and-off since the early days. This is our "2023 modpack", so that we can explore, build, and fight together once again!
The modpack is obviously tinged by our own preferences as individuals and as a group, and has a smattering of many different things, although there's a lean towards tech/magic/building. As with many general-purpose modpacks, there is some overlap between mods, but what mod doesn't have an auto-crafter these days?
Some key highlights to mention:
- Your usual UI QoL mods such as JEI, Mouse Tweaks and Jade, to ease exploration of the included mods
- UI staples such as JourneyMap and Inventory HUD
- QoL gameplay mods such as Corpse, Trashslot and Harvest with Ease to make gameplay easier and deaths less frustrating
- Several furniture and decorative block mods, to push the "quaint home" possibilities through the roof
- Biomes O'Plenty, for its gorgeous variety of new environs
- Alex's Mobs and Aquaculture 2, to populate the world with a huge variety of nice and nasty critters
- Minecolonies, the fantastic mod to grow and manage your own lively colony of NPC villagers
- Productive Bees, to gain a variety of resources from your bumbly friends
- Serene Seasons, to experience the world in both the summer sun and gloomy late-winter slush
- Create, the fabulous tech mod which we are trying for the first time
- Botania, the brilliant shamanic low-GUI magic-tech mod
- Several mods from the Thermal series, the nigh-staple tech and automation mod collection
- Occultism, which we are trying for the first time
- A slew of farming and cooking mods such as Pam's Harvestcraft, Farmer's Delight and Cooking for Blockheads, for the cutest little pixellated spagbols you've ever seen
- Spice of Life - Carrot Edition, so our resident Farming Mod Enjoyer's produce can boost our max health as well as our spirits
- Tetra, to create fine-tuned customised gear from modular parts
- Functional storage mods such as Storage Drawers, to stash the huge variety of stuff we'll no-doubt be hoarding
- New dungeons/structures and enhancements to the vanilla offerings, courtesy of When Dungeons Arise, Yung's Better Dungeons and Integrated Dungeons and Structures
