Gold Spike Project is a modpack centered around immersive railroading, A mod that allows you to create life sized locomotives and drive them around your world.
This is a very light pack designed with immersion in mind, which means players don't have the standard tool kit of automation mods that let you mine, craft, and store items with ease... The thing I see most in modern modpacks is how compact machinery can be. This pack makes players use Immersive Engineering, a mod that uses MultiBlock structures so that in order to do anything in this pack, you need space and planning skills.
This is also a 1.16.5 pack, so you will see some of the newer mods that you can't get in earlier versions of minecraft.
