Genesis Architect

From nothing but the pebbles beneath your feet, craft your way to Sovereignty.

Overview

Everything exists by your design.

This journey is not about finding rare ores in a random cave in a random jungle; it is about engineering the very fabric of your existence.

Every stone you mine, every block you place, every machine you forge, is a deliberate act of creation.

In Genesis Architect, the Creative Menu isn't a cheat code - it's the final frontier of a logical ladder that you will build, rung by rung, out of the pebbles beneath your feet.

Ex Nihilo, ad Divinum. From Cobblestone, make universes.

The Genesis Architect project is a deterministic revolution of Minecraft's crafting system, aiming to condense the entirety of the base game into a massive, single-source crafting tree. With hundreds of new recipes for vanilla items, as well as some custom-crafted items for this experience, any new Architect can progress from a barren stone world all the way to the Nether, the End, and beyond - turning your spawn coordinate into the epicenter of your universe.

By utilizing Create's many machines, and with some other mods for additional features, such as Tinkers' Construct and Sophisticated Backpacks, you will process cobblestone into every item in the game - starting with wood and iron, and working your way up to gemstones and other metals, transportation, and even life itself.

Several mods installed aim to assist in the progression - the JEI and EMI together allow the player to view and bookmark item recipes. To inspire player-driven exploration of the systems, items have been grouped into "Ages" - the Stone Age, the Industrial Age, etc - with tags to search them easily in the JEI. Triggered Age Banners have been added to enhance overall UX, and additional items are continuously being integrated into and rebalanced within the progression structure.

From Nothing, Make Everything

Many of the items featured in the base game, such as Potatoes and Carrots, Iron and Diamonds, and even Spawn Eggs, have added recipes to allow for a more "Craft-Centric" experience.

Cobblestone can be hand-ground into pebbles, and reformed into sticks, and then planks. With this, you can open up the crafting grid to make more complex creations; andesite from those same pebbles, and eventually iron. Soon, you will need to use that iron and andesite to upgrade your potential, as simple crafting may not always apply the right forces - only heat and pressure make diamonds.

With nothing but Cobblestone in your inventory, even the Nether and the End are at your fingertips.

Creator Notes and Suggestions:

This was originally designed as an extension to SkyBlock, but has since grown into its own environment. To honor its roots, here are some suggested modifications to make on new worlds, to enhance the overall experience.

For a "True Architect" run, set up a custom SuperFlat world with these modifications:

minecraft:bedrock,5*minecraft:stone;minecraft:the_void

For a "Challenge" run, set up a custom SuperFlat world with just the Void Platform:

minecraft:air;minecraft:the_void
* This will generate a 33x33x1 stone platform to separate you from infinite falling. Good luck.

*Note: I am not entirely sure, and honestly more and more convinced each day, that the Challenge run is not actually possible, though I am excited to be proved wrong.

Custom Items

The Flower Set: Nature’s Grace
Crown: Floral Attunement - Without this, the other Floral pieces are just pretty clothing.
Tunic: Thorn-Shield – A reactive layer of growth that cancels a blow before it can land.
Leggings: Vampiric BloomA trade of essence; your hunger fuels your survival, blooming into a surge of energy when death nears.
Boots: Wild-Step – Move with the haste of the seasons, crest obstacles without effort, and land from great heights like a floating leaf.

The Ender Arm: Space-Folder
A blade that doesn't just cut—it displaces. When threatened, the blade "vwoops" the wielder to safety, mirroring the elusive nature of the End.

The Ender Hand: Space-Warper
A tool that recognizes "unbreakable" blocks... and chooses to ignore them. Break the literal boundary of the world and mold it to your will.

Revamped Enchanting System
While the enchanting table itself has not been removed or remedied, an Architect may create various magical Runes to enchant their gear, turning a gamble into a logistical chain.

Spawn Egg Crafting
No longer do you need to scour the world for a Mushroom Island! Take charge of your environment by crafting Spawn Eggs, making your base a personal menagerie without ever changing biomes.

Architect's Guide

An Architect's Guide has been added to the game, briefly going over recipes with narrative weight to drive forward the player's progression.

More updates coming soon! New update schedule coming soon!

Hi! Coma here. This is my first published modpack of any kind, and I would appreciate some feedback on it! I am a one-man band learning all of this from scratch, so please don't expect any professional-grade stuff yet.

My intent for this project was to come up with a survival-friendly, creative-adjacent sandbox environment that rewarded the player not for time spent walking, but for effort spent creating. As such, I'm working on making the code open-source so that other people can use my horrible spaghetti code as inspiration for their own creative works outside of the virtual world.

All of the code was written for KubeJS and KubeJS Create; every mod not immediately associated with Create or KubeJS was added in for Quality of Play. Further mod integration will be added in a later phase - with the latest update, Tinker's Construct has been compacted into the recipe list.

I'm taking some time to deal with real-life stuff, as well as go through and fully test everything. It may be a little bit before my next upload - but I promise, it is coming! New recipes, new items, new abilities!

If you stuck around thus far, or are just joining - Thank you for playing my modpack! It means a lot to me to have your support. Please leave a comment and let me know what your favorite recipe was, or share a build you're proud of! I'd love to see other Architects' creativity.

Stay sleepy <3

*Unaffiliated with Project Architect / ChosenArchitect and any of his other works - though I would love to start a collaboration at some point in the future! The naming convention was decided before I discovered him, so I apologize for any confusion.
