Gears, Dragons & Vampires

This is a "Kitchen Sink" modpack originally created for a private server for me and my friends. I am uploading it here to make it easier for us to update and maintain the pack.

The goal of this pack isn't to be perfectly balanced or hardcore. It is simply a collection of the mods we enjoy playing with, mashed together into one world. You are welcome to play it if you enjoy a mix of heavy industrial tech, RPG magic, and dangerous exploration without a strict questline.

What is in the pack?

Technology & Engineering We wanted to build big factories, so the tech side is heavy.

- Create: This is the core of our building. We also added Steam 'n' Rails and Create: Big Cannons for more options.
- Heavy Industry: For the big power needs, we included Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, and the Thermal series. You can build jetpacks, nuclear reactors, or just automated farms.
- Storage: Mods like Sophisticated Storage and Sophisticated Backpacks help manage the item overflow.

Magic & RPG

- Vampirism: You can choose to become a vampire or a vampire hunter. This adds a faction element to the game.
- Ice and Fire: Dragons roam the world. They are dangerous and difficult to kill, which adds a boss-fight feel to exploration.
- Iron's Spellbooks: For players who want to focus on casting spells and finding scrolls in dungeons.

Exploration & World

- World Generation: The terrain is generated using Regions Unexplored, making the biomes look much more distinct.
- Atmosphere: We added Distant Horizons so you can see far into the distance (performance permitting) and Deeper and Darker for better cave exploration.
- Structures: There are plenty of dungeons to loot thanks to Dungeon Now Loading and Moog's Structures.

Planned for Future Updates

This pack is a work in progress. In the next version, I am planning to add:

- Farming: Farmer's Delight and Polymorph for better cooking.
- Creatures: Alex's Mobs and Straw Golem Updated.
- Building: Macaw's Roofs and furniture mods.
- QoL: FTB Chunks (for claiming areas), Vein Miner, and a way to make days longer.

Note on Performance This pack includes performance mods like Embeddium, ModernFix, and Entity Culling. However, because it includes heavy mods like Distant Horizons and Ice and Fire, it might require a decent amount of RAM to run smoothly.
