GEAR IT UP!

A Create and AE2 modpack for NeoForge 1.21.1: gear up your factories, store everything, and explore a world full of structures and loot.

Build sprawling Create factories, connect them to a powerful Applied Energistics 2 network, and head out to discover new biomes, dungeons and villages along the way. GEAR IT UP is tuned for smooth performance, so big bases stay playable.

Highlights

• Create and addons: Create with a large addon set, including Enchantment Industry, Crafts & Additions, Big Cannons and more, for deep automation.
• Applied Energistics 2: AE2 with ExtendedAE, MEGA Cells and many quality-of-life addons for large-scale storage and autocrafting.
• Exploration: Biomes O’ Plenty, a wide selection of structure and dungeon mods, Waystones, Lootr chests and Artifacts.
• Progression and magic: Apotheosis, Ars Nouveau, Mystical Agriculture and Allthemodium.
• Storage and utility: Sophisticated Storage and Backpacks, Jade, JEI, Xaero’s Minimap and World Map, and Simple Voice Chat.

Performance

The pack ships with a full performance stack: Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, ModernFix, C2ME, Noisium, ImmediatelyFast, Entity Culling, Clumps and more. Heavy mods were profiled and removed where they caused tick lag.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.262
• Java 21
• 8-12 GB RAM allocated recommended (more then 12GB could cause errors)

Servers

Works on dedicated servers. For small servers, pregenerate the world with Chunky and set a world border to keep worldgen cost low. On servers with few CPU cores, limit the C2ME thread count in config/c2me.toml.
