Gateway is based around keeping the experience as vanilla as possible while introducing technology, automation and exploration. The goal of the pack is to let you play how you want rather than forcing you to use mods. Designed to be easy for players new to modded to adjust to while still having plenty to keep more experienced players interested.
A server pack will come when I'm happy with how the modpack is, right now its going to be frequently updated and isn't 100% stable.
