Galvanic (Forge 1.20.1)

Galvanic is a modpack built around Alien Evo and Palladium, focused on giving you an Omnitrix-style playthrough in Minecraft.

The main idea of the pack is simple:
you unlock alien forms, get stronger over time, and actually use those powers to explore the world and fight bosses.

Alien Evo and its many addons are the core of the experience, with Palladium handling the power systems and abilities that make transformations feel meaningful instead of gimmicky. A lot of time went into making sure the pack feels progression-based rather than “everything unlocked immediately.”

The world itself is heavily modded. There are a lot of structure and worldgen mods, so exploration is a big part of how you progress. Dungeons, caves, and structures are everywhere, and many of them are meant to push you into using your alien abilities instead of just normal gear.

Combat is tougher than vanilla. Boss mods like Cataclysm are included specifically so that getting stronger actually matters. You’re expected to grow into your powers over time, not steamroll everything from the start.

There are tech and magic mods in the pack, but they’re there to support progression, storage, and automation — not to replace the core gameplay. The focus stays on powers, transformations, and exploration.

I originally made Galvanic for a small server with friends, and this is essentially the same pack we play on. It’s built for multiplayer, but it works just as well in singleplayer.

This modpack is for Forge 1.20.1, and unless the main mods get updated, it will stay on that version.
