# G2 Better MC [NEOFORGE] BMC5 - v53.1

## Main Changes

This update focuses on improving combat, enchantment progression, mob scaling, and overall RPG progression for the G2 server.

### Added

- **Apotheosis**
  - Adds a deeper enchantment system, affixes, gems, improved loot progression, stronger gear customization, and expanded RPG mechanics.

- **Apothic Attributes**
  - Required library/module for Apotheosis attribute systems.

- **Apothic Enchanting**
  - Adds the new Apotheosis enchanting mechanics and enchantment progression.

- **Apothic Spawners**
  - Adds expanded spawner mechanics and progression features from Apotheosis.

- **Placebo**
  - Required dependency for Apotheosis and related mods.

- **Better Combat**
  - Adds a smoother and more modern combat system with improved weapon animations and attack flow.

- **Better Combat x Apotheosis Compat**
  - Compatibility layer between Better Combat and Apotheosis.

- **playerAnimator**
  - Required dependency for Better Combat animations.

- **Dynamic Difficulty**
  - Adds mob level scaling and configurable difficulty progression.
  - Mobs can become stronger depending on world settings, progression, and configuration.

### Removed

- **Easy Magic**
  - Removed to prevent conflicts and overlap with the new Apotheosis enchanting system.

## Gameplay Impact

- Enchanting has been reworked and expanded through Apotheosis.
- Combat should feel smoother and more dynamic with Better Combat.
- Mob difficulty can now scale through Dynamic Difficulty.
- Gear progression is now deeper thanks to Apotheosis affixes, gems, and attributes.
- The enchanting table experience is now handled mainly through Apotheosis instead of Easy Magic.

## Important Notes

- This update requires both the **server** and all **clients** to update their mod list.
- Players should make a backup of their current profile before updating.
- To keep Xaero's Minimap waypoints, keybinds, video settings, and server list, players should avoid creating a completely new profile unless they copy their old profile data.
