The modpack features a focus on Create and Create Aeronautics to help you in your fight against the bioweapon infesting the world (Fungal Infestation: Spore).

The intent is that players will use trains, cars, airships, planes, tanks, etc to keep on the move, as staying in one place for too long will invite the Hiveminds that grow to send Raids at your home.
