Froglegs

My first uploaded modpack, used on a server with friends at the time of upload. Focused on extra dimensions, as well as enhancement of the overworld and general gameplay. Not sure if 'vanilla+' or rather 'vanilla+++'

From a free unmodded server with a highly limited view range (hence "fogworld") I went to running a modded ("fogless" - hence the name of the modpack lol) server with a custom modpack suited to my preferences. Expect lots to explore :) mainly new dimensions.

With the focus being mainly on dimensions, I added pretty much any dimension mod I could find except for the silliest ones. Unfortunately, some friends couldn't quite run that, so I had to make the modpack lighter for them. This is why it lacks such cool mods as The Aether and Abyss II - The Other Side. Removing those seemed to boost performance a lot. I also removed some more boring dimensions while I was at it.
New dimensions included: Twilight Forest, Bumblezone, Everbright and Everdawn (both from Blue Skies), Gaia Dimension, Undergarden, Other Side (from Deeper and Darker)

Other than that, this modpack has improvements to:
- general gameplay
- sniffers
- archeology
- villages 
- enchantments
- performance
- exploration
- cosmetics
- building blocks variety
- tools and weapon creation (Tetra, my beloved)
- automation

Issues I have noticed:
Most of this should be working fine, except for
- The warped and crimson versions of Small Ships vessels, have missing textures as items and as entities.
- The Gaia dimension I have not explored much, so there may be issues I missed.
- Throwing spears in the Alchemist boss room in Everbright caused them to disappear, even if they had loyalty. Especially frustrating with spears I had worked on for a long time :( Same issue rarely in other cases, I think when I threw the spear into water..? This is an issue I understand very little.
- When looking for a stronghold, when I reached the spot on the surface above it, the eyes of ender, instead of flying down toward it, simply started flying toward another one, leading me in a V shape before I realized what was happening.
- Stoneborn from the Undergarden explode when in any other dimension. This is intended. However, these explosions don't care about the mobGriefing rule. So even with the gamerule disabled, they WILL destroy blocks when dying in this manner.
- Silk touch doesn't work for the special blocks you get from the special trees from the Twilight Forest. Info online says it should work, but it doesn't.
- Restoration enchantment will not trigger on Tetra tools, since they never go below durability 1.
- The igniting trait on Tetra tools/weapons (applied when using Fiery Ingots for a major module that isn's a handle/hilt)) does nothing. So it won't act like flames or fire aspect. The Auto-smelt does work though.

Tips for performance:
- Lower your view range and simulation range and replace the missing vanilla view range with Distant Horizons. Distant Horizons settings are found next to FOV, it is the square button with the mod logo and no text.
- Press M to open the world map, go to the settings in the top left and turn down or disable whatever you need. This map tracks every single top block around you. Very demanding, so making it do less will make a difference.

Some more tid bits:
I run this modpack on my server with datapacks I made for custom crafting recipes. That is far from a finished project and, for whatever reason, adding new recipes with the tool I was using suddenly stopped working recently. So I want to start using a different tool and redo all the recipes and add many new ones. When I am at least close to finished with that, I may release that datapack as well.
I used commands to triple the day and night length on my server. That’s just a preference thing I thought I might mention. You can do that with the Time Control mod.
When I have the time and mood for it, I may make a modpack similar to this one, but with less regard for performance. Especially having Aether and Abyss II here would be a delight.
