Travel to the high heavens of the Aether from the Aether II mod! Or travel to the deep mysterious Twilight Forest (from the Twilight Forest)
Maybe dabble in magic with the Botania mod and play with some crazy plant magic! Or try farming with Pam's Harvest Craft or speaking to the advanced villagers with Minecraft Comes Alive.
And when you get far from home use a waystone from the Waystones mod to get back!
