Modpack:
you can find the entire modpack on the twitch app. Go into the mods tab and search ForsakenXMutiny in the modpack section. Click to install and you're all set. There are dozens of mods installed so give it a few minutes to install and a few minutes to load each time you run the modpack
Mod Info
Plenty of these mods may be new to you so I'm going to give you access to the best information on the mods that apply to your game experience on the server. Don't let yourself be overwhelmed by the shear number of new items and blocks
Tektopia
I consider this to be the core mod of this modpack. It’s a villager overhaul mod. Naturally spawning villages will now be filled with villagers that have professions and genders. There are many professions a villager and can and things each villager needs to survive and be happy. Here’s a link of the dev for this mod doing a “let’s Dev” of his mod so you have a good idea of how everything works.
Here’s some tips and the “need to knows” for this mod
Claiming a naturally spawning town
- 1) You can decide to claim a natural spawning village if you’d like but they don’t do well at first because the villagers will starve very fast without your immediate help.
- 2) If you decide to create your own village DO NOT take building tokens from a natural village, they will not work properly for you.
Starting your own village
1) The first step of making your own village is to craft a “Town Hall” token. It’s a pretty easy item to make but does require 1 diamond. When you place this on a building it’ll spawn in the Architect and Tradesman as well as a chest with a storage building token, a home2 building token, a farmer token and a lumberjack token to get you started.
- 2) Build a storage building in just a couple chests to start with. Many chests just means many to look through all the time less is better in this case because the villagers don’t organize.
- 3) Build a home with your Home2 token and put in 2 beds for villagers to claim. Keep your own bed somewhere else. Size does matter on homes, make the home at least 3 blocks high inside and give enough room for villagers to move around a little and maybe some chairs added by this mod. These things help your villagers sleep.
- 4) Each day you village has a chance to spawn a group of nomads and a merchant, these guys spawn at a corner of your village boundary which if visible when you approach the border. Use your farmer and lumberjack tokens on nomads to recruit them to work in your village. Check the intelligence on the nomads first. Nomads often have a profession already but you can ignore that but intelligence determines how quickly they level up a profession.
- 5) Once you have working villagers the merchant will start accepting trades to give you emeralds based on what your village is able to produce. Trade as many items as you can with merchants because prices lower or raise base on how many times you’ve traded specific items. Merchants only accept items that are in green letters meaning they were produced by villagers.
NOTE- Mod trees and crops don’t work with tektopia.
- 6) Use your emeralds to buy more building tokens and profession tokens to expand your village and trade options. Prices for these items go up as your village advances.
Tips
- 1) Craft a Town Hall token
- 2) Villagers will go outside at night to get food if they’re hungry so keep housing close to homes or maybe guard that area well at night. Midnight snacks get villagers killed.
- 3) In your storage building only chests at ground level can be used by villagers.
4) Having only one guard does not work!
- 5) You can make different rooms of a build count as different structures with the building tokens
- 6) If there’s a river on your land make sure you put bridges in or you villagers and visiting nomads and merchants won’t be able to get around very well.
- 7) Don’t sleep through the night. Villagers regain happiness over time when they are asleep.
- 8) Make lots of tools for your villagers.
- 9) Remember your village is not loaded while you’re away from the village. If you’re nowhere close time stops at the village so no work is done and if you left during the day and come back at night your villagers will suddenly find themselves outside in the middle of the night.
JEI- Just Enough Items
This is considered the essential mod to any modpack. When you bring up your inventory screen this is what is displayed to the right of the screen.
- You can search items in search bar at the bottom right of the screen. Placing an @ and then the name of an installed mod will bring up only the items from that mod.
- You can left or Right click any item and JEI will show you the crafting recipe for that item or show you what that item is used for and maybe even give you and tab with general info on that item. This is what makes JEI so important.
Baubles
Simply adds an icon to your inventory screen near you character that when clicked opens unique armor slots for baubles. (rings, necklaces, other such items with unique effects)
OpenBlocks
Openblocks adds many many features to the game. Most items are included in this modpack while some nonsense or game breaking features have been configured out. Here's a video on what OpenBlocks has to offer.
Mystcraft
This mod allows you to explore randomly stitched together dimensions to find book pages you collect in order to create your own custom dimensions. NOTE- I have configured out the instabilities the mod normally adds randomly to dimensions, they were absolutely no fun. Here's a how to video on the mod.
- Explore random dimensions to gather pages from temples.
- Use those pages to create your dream dimension.
Cyclic
This mod adds a crazy amount to the game!
NOTE- I removed the heartcontainer item from the game but if you hand over a nether star or boss trophy from "the twilight Forest" mod I will give you one. Each boss item can only be turned in one time.
Little Tiles
Allows building with pixel sized blocks and creation of items like doors and chests. It's like chisel and bits except it does even MORE.

Blockcraftery
This one is simple. Create any type of block from this mod, when you click on that block with a different block held in your hand the mod block with take on the texture of the one in your hand. Adds smooth slopes to the game.
Tinker's Construct
This mod lets me build custom Tools and Weapons out of all sorts of things. It's pretty complicated so check out this how to series if you're confused.
Construct's Armory
This is the armor making version of Tinker's Construct, here's a video
Extra Utilities
This mod adds lots of items and blocks to the game in cluding it's own version of tech as well as ways to use tech items from other mods. NOTE-I removed the Angel Rings from the game.
- This mod gives you some automation options for your base and some features give you a sense of progression. NOTE- If you find yourself needing a golden lasso with a village inside talk to me.

Dark Utilities
Another mod that adds many items to the game. This one is much more straightforward but has a couple things that could use some explaining
Enchanting Plus
Mostly an enchanting overhaul mod. An enchanting area has been setup at world spawn for this.
FTB Utilities
This mod allows you to claim chunks in the world as your property and give access to specific visitors when they're on your land. Options and chunk claiming is at the upper left side of your screen when opening your inventory.
Improvable Skills
When you chest you have a chance to find a skill page from this mod. After finding one you can then access many skills to improve and many more you can discover. Think of this as a talent tree for minecraft. Each skill costs player levels and you can use the mod to store your player levels keeping them safe.
Level Up
Press "L" and you'll bring up the menu for this mod. First choose a passive exp buff source as your specialization and after that you can pull up talent trees for each section to donate player levels into.
jglrxavpok's Uncrafting Table
The uncrafting table allows you to destroy items to get back components from it. This way you can turn your trash into resources.
Colytra
Simply allows you to combine your chestplate with the elytra so you don’t have to choose between them
Cosmetic Armor Rework
Adds armor slots to your inventory screen that apply the visual of the item placed within them. You can make your armor look like you’re wearing something else or you can make it look like you’re not wearing armor even when you are.
JourneyMap
Adds and minimap and world map to your game with the ability to make waypoints to mark places of interest. Press “J” to bring up options.
Just A Few Fish
Blame EmilyEver.
This mod removes the use of regular fishing rods in the game. You’ll have to craft the rods from this mod. Fish will have their own 3D models and can bee seen swimming around. You can catch the fish and breed them in tanks added in this mod.
NOTE- If you want items that can be randomly found fishing normally like saddles and nametags the autofishing items from other mods DO still work for that. You can use the normal fishing rods to power those.
Light Level Overlay Reloaded
Press “f4” to display the light level of applicable blocks in your area. Fantastic way to make sure your base is spawn proof!
Ore Excavation
Hold down the configured button and when you mine a block all the touching blocks of the same type will be mined with it. This DOES use the correct amount of durability of your tools and has a set limit to how many blocks and me mined at a time. Very fast way to take down structures, landscape or mine.
Quark
Adds many great items and features to the game.
Item sorting, automatic tool replacement, underground biomes, tons of UI and interaction improvements. Seriously one of the best mods out there.
Waystones
Adds teleportation to the game. These are craftable and every naturally spawning village will have one giving the village a random name. You can pick those up and place them again to rename towns.
The Twilight Forest
Huge mod that adds a new dimension to the game loaded with danger and magic. It adds several bosses and challenges to the game with it’s own progression as to what zones you can safely inhabit and what bosses you’re able to challenge. You’ll need a guide for this one for sure.
