Forged Through Time is a progression-driven Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge modpack built around Create, Tetra, Fossils and Archeology: Revival, exploration and more than 600 handcrafted quests.

This is not a pack where every mod is available at full power from the first hour. Progression is built around connected milestones: explore the world, improve your equipment, develop industry, uncover ancient remains and gradually transform a primitive settlement into an advanced civilization capable of bringing extinct life back into the world.

Your choices are spread across several interconnected paths, but they ultimately become part of one larger journey.

Build equipment that evolves with you.

Tetra, TetraWear and forging addons turn weapons and tools into long-term projects rather than disposable upgrades. Change materials, replace modules, specialize weapons, improve armor and eventually work with rare late-game forging materials.

⚙️ Age of Machines

Turn a workshop into an industrial network with Create.

Begin with simple kinetic power, move into mechanical processing, Brass-era machinery, precision engineering, steam power, logistics and large-scale automation. Later objectives connect factories, farms, laboratories and rail infrastructure into one system.

🦖 Echoes of the Past

Recover life from a world that disappeared millions of years ago.

Use Fossils and Archeology to excavate fossils, analyze samples, recover DNA, build laboratory infrastructure and revive prehistoric creatures. Progress through research branches covering ancient seas, flyers, giants, predators, Cenozoic life and more.

The prehistoric collection includes progression for 64 different creatures.

📖 600+ Custom Quests

Forged Through Time currently contains 606 quests across 16 chapters.

The questbook is designed as a progression system, not only a checklist. Main quests unlock new stages of the pack, while optional branches reward exploration, construction, automation, collecting and experimentation.

Major technologies and materials are tied to progression milestones.

Reaching a new age can unlock new recipes, equipment, machinery or research opportunities. Create machines, Tetra materials, advanced resources and prehistoric research are introduced gradually instead of being available immediately.

The major branches also connect to each other, so advancement in one field can become the key to progress somewhere else.

🦴 Build a Lost World

Finding a fossil is only the beginning.

Build an Analyzer and laboratory. Recover DNA. Produce Bio-Goo. Grow prehistoric life. Construct enclosures and research facilities. Expand a single revived species into a full prehistoric park.

Later challenges encourage you to connect paleontology with the rest of the pack: automated infrastructure, transportation, museums, food production and large-scale park construction.

🚂 Industry Meets Exploration

Forged Through Time is designed around interaction between mods rather than isolated mod progression.

A railway can connect your factory to a prehistoric park. Create machinery can support food production and research infrastructure. Exploration provides materials needed for advanced equipment. Tetra gear grows alongside the dangers you face farther from home.

The goal is for your world to visibly change as you progress.

👥 Built for Solo and Multiplayer

The main Quest Edition supports FTB Teams, allowing players to progress through the questbook together while keeping normal rewards individual where appropriate.

Lootr improves shared exploration by giving players separate loot in many structures, making long-distance expeditions more practical for groups.

A dedicated Multiplayer / Server Pack is also available for server hosting with unnecessary client-only mods removed.

For players who want the same world and content without progression locks.

No quest-based stages, no staged recipes and no forced progression path — explore the mods freely from the beginning.

🌐 Multiplayer / Server Pack

A server-focused companion for the Quest Edition with client-only mods removed while keeping the full progression system.

✨ Optional Visuals

Shader support is available through Oculus. Shaders remain optional, so players can prioritize either performance or a more cinematic presentation.

👑 Endgame

Completing the core progression paths leads toward Your Legacy, the main conclusion of the pack.

Completionists can continue into optional collections, mastery trials and large-scale objectives on the road toward A World Mastered.
