Just a collection of my favorite mods, including combining magic and tech that seems to work pretty well together, and gives a broad range of 'things' to build and accomplish. I wanted to include some 'big' mods that give a lot of milestones to pursue, like machines to build and equipment to acquire. I also wanted to promote exploration and discovery with lots of animals, monsters, and dungeons to explore. And I wanted it to be fairly challenging, as most of my players are veterans. 

Botania provides some well designed and executed magical resources, as does Blood Magic. And on the engineer side we have most of the Thermal Expansion mods, so there's lots of factory and automation tasks to tackle. My hope is that extensive hostile mobs will necessitate acquiring the advanced gear available from those mods towards the end game stage.

 

Lastly, the Create mod offers a tremendous amount of customization and clever building and engineer possibilities.
