Overview

Version 3.1.0 expands The Final Frontier with the return of Applied Energistics 2, a major update to Create: Enchantment Industry, new Create-focused integrations, and several performance and stability improvements.

Applied Energistics 2 returns as a secondary late-game storage and automation option alongside Refined Storage, supported by a collection of AE2 addons, custom Create compatibility, rebalanced recipes, updated textures, and a reworked quest chapter. This update also removes several resource-intensive or unstable compatibility mods to improve loading times, memory usage, and server stability while preserving important functionality through custom recipes and integrations.

Key Highlights

• Applied Energistics 2 Returns: Reintroduced AE2 as an alternative late-game storage and automation system alongside Refined Storage, complete with rebalanced progression, quests, custom recipes, and numerous supported addons.
• Expanded Create & AE2 Integration: Added new integrations connecting AE2 with Create's mechanical crafting, package logistics, stock networks, Schematicannon construction, and other automation systems.
• Create: Enchantment Industry Update: Updated Create: Enchantment Industry from v1.4.1 to v2.5.0-p4, with accompanying changes to Apotheosis integration, quest rewards, custom assets, and progression recipes.
• Improved Performance & Stability: Removed Every Compat: Wood Good and Stone Zone to reduce loading times and memory usage, while EC Apotheosis Plugin was removed due to server stability issues.
• New Building & Quality-of-Life Content: Added MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod: Refurbished, Create: Chipped, Mech Trowel, Ender Lead, and additional supporting mods.
• Quest & Progression Improvements: Reintroduced and rebalanced the AE2 quest chapter, reorganized Metallurgy and Create Addons progression, and updated Final Rocket component quests to match new recipes.
• Continued refining the systems introduced in v3.0.0 Highlights.
