What Is This Pack?

Create Unbound is a modpack built around one idea: Create should be the whole game, not a side activity. Instead of throwing in a dozen unrelated tech mods, this pack takes Create and stacks nearly every good addon on top of it — industry, trains, decoration, food, economy — so everything you build stays in the same visual and mechanical language.

There is no forced questline and no gated progression. You start in a normal world with a normal wooden pickaxe. Where you go from there is up to you: a small automated farm, a working rail network across the world, or a full industrial complex that refines oil and prints its own currency.

The pack is tuned to actually run well. Sodium, Lithium, ModernFix and friends are included and configured, and shaders are already installed. You just need to turn them on.

Create 6 is the backbone of the pack, extended by a curated set of addons that add depth without breaking the feel of the base mod:

Something to Fight

L_Ender's Cataclysm adds proper boss encounters and dungeons for when you want a break from the factory floor, while Variants & Ventures and Better Archeology add variety to mobs and to the things you dig up. Combat is a change of pace here, not the main course.

The unglamorous mods that make a 130-mod pack pleasant to actually play:

Performance & Visuals

Performance was treated as a feature, not an afterthought. The pack includes Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, ModernFix, BadOptimizations, Entity Culling, Immersive Optimization, Create Better FPS and Create Threaded Trains, all pre-configured.

Shaders are already installed. Iris ships with Complementary Reimagined + Euphoria Patches . Open Video Settings, enable the shader pack, and you are done. No extra downloads, no setup.

A custom main menu and loading screen round the whole thing off.

Multiplayer & Servers

The pack is built to be played with friends. FTB Chunks and FTB Teams handle claims and shared bases, FTB Ranks and FTB Essentials give admins the basics, and Simple Voice Chat means you can talk without leaving the game. Create: Numismatics gives your server a working economy out of the box.

A matching server pack is available on the Files tab.

Also you can join our official community server by clicking the button in the multiplayer menu.

FAQ

Is there a questbook?
Yes there are quests. They are optional

Do I need to install shaders myself?
No. Complementary Reimagined with Euphoria Patches is already included. Enable it in Video Settings → Shader Packs.

Can I play this on a server?
Yes. A server pack is provided on the Files tab, and the pack ships with claims, teams and voice chat ready to go. Also you can join our official community server by clicking the button on the multiplayer page.

My game is stuttering / crashing on startup.
Make sure you are on Java 21 and have at least 4 GB allocated, and update your graphics drivers. If it still fails, post the full latest.log and crash-report in the comments or on Discord. Screenshots of the error alone are rarely enough to help.

Can I make a video or stream this pack?
Absolutely, and please do. A link back to the CurseForge page is appreciated.

Can I add mods / use this in my own pack?
Add whatever you like for your own play. For public re-uploads or derivative packs, please ask first.
