Fluffier than Fabric is a simple Vanilla+ modpack intended to be used on low-end PCs in a Multiplayer Server. The purpose of it's creation is just to put it on my own server, which mostly consists of Survival Multiplayer with friends that have horrific computers. That includes me, but what's most important is the fact that this isn't intended to be distributed like most modpacks.
Here is a compendium of the additions to this pack.
Resource Packs and Shaders
This modpack consists of resource packs that make vanilla assets fully 3D, have their textures indented, or are animated. Fresh Animations and Fresh Moves is also present, bringing a lively animation set for both players and mobs. Various user interface changes are also in place to bring more, quick information to the forefront. There is also better visibility for fire and the sliced pumpkin. Those in creative will find that vanilla mob eggs Complimentary Shaders is also present for those who want their game to have some extra lighting flavor.
Mods
On top of the code libraries and compatibility addons, there is a cornucopia of mods that enhance the vanilla experience. There is nothing overhauled, just added to. For one, there are multiple performance-enhancing mods that allow PCs like mine to run this at a just-barely-playable pace. On the other hand, there are multiple UI/UX changes to provide more information at a ready rate. For example, AppleSkin and Mouse Tweaks. Repurposed Structures brings more Vanilla friendly structures to the world generation, giving more opportunities for exploration. That said, you'll only need one Trial Chamber now, as you can repeat them with the Repeatable Trials mod. Players can now better express themselves with the likes of Not Enough Animations and What Are They Doing?, providing more information amongst themselves. This is compounded by a working Voice Chat. Villagers have also improved, both with the previously mentioned as well as Sawmill and Trade Cycling, no more looking for specific types of wood or constantly swapping workstations for that trade you want. Mobs also have a few additions with Variants and Ventures, making a very poor effort in balancing the easy nature of this pack. Some mods also add better immersion, such as Sound Physics Remastered and Snow! Real Magic!, bringing the world together with better sound, more consistent visuals, and hopefully a silky smooth framerate.
With all that said. If you want to try it, I hope you enjoy.
