Flower Fewer is lightweight modpack, centered around Botania and Thaumcraft. It's probably the best way to learn both mods while having fun with Biomes O' Plenty and Chisel. If you are just starting with modded Minecraft, this modpack is perfect for you!
Botania and Thaumcraft both have ingame guides (Lexica Botania and Thaumonomicon) and all gameplay information is available in there. To find different decoration blocks, use NEI (shorter for NotEnoughItems).
