Fatal Fantasy

me and my brother created FATAL FANTASY  to be the most cohesive, yet feature, quest and content rich fantasy modpack of all time and I hope to eventually achieve that goal! FATAL FANTASY is a questing modpack with an in-depth fantasy story utilising FTB quests.

This modpack is relatively intuitive and doesnt require much explaining. But it is heavily recommended to read the HOW TO PLAY section at the bottom of this description. \/\/\/

THIS MODPACK INCLUDES:

• 140 main mods
• a multi-act story (3 acts, 11 chapters, hundreds of quests) constructed using FTB quests
• 13 powerful main-story bosses
• 9 optional story bosses
• 5 extra mini-bosses/encounters (Mowzies Mobs)
• over 100 new mobs
• over 150 spells
• over 200 unique weapons
• over 80 armour sets
• over 50 magic trinkets/items
• overhauled ender dragon final boss (new attacks, crazy damage)
• dynamic magic skill tree
• revamped end (better end)
• multitude of new structures
• all basic minecraft structures have been revamped with mods
• new combat mechanics (dashing, weapon abilities, animations)
• classic rpg 3rd person playstyle (or first person obviously)
• complex medieval/fantasy worldgen)
• Balanced combat (tweaked boss health, god apple cooldowns, boss health reset when you die)
• KEEP INV on by default (be warned, turning this off will suckkkkk)
• stunning visuals (Excalibur resource pack/compat packs, shaders, distant horizons
• FTB quest merchant 'The Enchantress' with many sidequests (WORK IN PROGRESS)

HOW TO PLAY:

• This modpack utilises the FTB quests mod to create a storyline. To access the questbook you enter your inventory and press the book icon in the top left of the screen. Begin at the 'Yetis awakening' and play from there.
• If you are ever stuck refer to the 'TIP:' sections in some quest descriptions
• If you ever dont know where to travel, or how to get there. Find the location you need to go to in a quest and put it into your 'Explorers Compass' (you get this early on in the story)
• This modpack uses 'Music Player'. You can use this to play your own music during the game! just press F8 on your keyboard and make a playlist, then provide a link from youtube or another music streaming service and you'll be able to play it in-game
• This modpack comes with the main 'Excalibur' resource pack as well as many others for compatibility. But there is a certain order in which to have the resource packs arranged! The 'Boss Health Bars' pack must be placed at highest priority, followed by 'Bosses Refreshed'. Then the rest can be enabled as you please :)

RECOMMENDED COMPUTER SPECS:

• At least 8gb of ram allocated to the modpack (10gb recommended)
• Decent-ish graphics card (Im running on a 3050 laptop gpu and it runs 40-60 fps with shaders and distant horizons enabled at low-medium settings) :)

THIS MODPACK IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!
this means it WILL be updated regularly and has many new mods and features to come
(this also means FTB quests hasnt been fully fleshed out with descriptions... we are working on this as we speak)
