Farlands-Rising Lite v2.1
What's new
Farlands Rising v2.1
More content, better compatibility, stronger foundations. π¦βπ₯
Farlands Rising 2.1 builds upon the major overhaul introduced with 2.0, expanding the pack with new creatures, magic and returning technology while continuing to improve stability and compatibility across the modpack.
β¦ New Additions
- Malum
- Mowzie's Mobs
- Creeper Overhaul
- Enderman Overhaul
- Farlands Tweaks
Additional libraries and support components have also been added where required.
β¦ Returning Mods
Two mods removed during the transition to 2.0 are making their return:
- Powah
- EnderStorage
Powah once again expands the pack's energy progression, while EnderStorage restores convenient cross-dimensional storage and item/fluid transport options.
β¦ Farlands Tweaks
Version 2.1 introduces Farlands Tweaks, a custom compatibility mod developed specifically for Farlands Rising.
It acts as an additional compatibility and stability layer for the modpack, containing targeted fixes for issues discovered through testing and multiplayer use.
Its purpose is to improve interactions between some of the pack's more complex systems and provide a centralized place for Farlands Rising-specific compatibility fixes.
β¦ New Creatures & Exploration
The world receives several new additions in 2.1.
Mowzie's Mobs introduces new creatures, enemies and encounters, while Creeper Overhaul and Enderman Overhaul greatly increase the variety of two of Minecraft's most iconic hostile mobs.
Together, these additions make exploration and combat more varied without replacing the world introduced in 2.0.
β¦ New Magic
Malum joins the existing collection of magic mods in Farlands Rising.
The mod introduces its own progression, equipment, rituals and spirit-based magic systems, further expanding the magical side of the pack alongside Ars Nouveau, Hexerei, Occultism, Botania and Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks.
β¦ Performance & Compatibility Changes
- Added Farlands Tweaks to the distributed client
- Removed DoesPotatoTick
- Removed Duplicationless
- Harium now uses a newer cumulative compatibility hotfix
- Continued optimization and compatibility work across the modpack
- Various internal libraries and dependencies updated
