Factoriadel

Factoriadel - this is a modpack inspired by the game "Factorio" and realism.

What is Factoriadel?

Factoriadel is a Minecraft modpack that introduces a vast world of machinery and electronics. It draws inspiration from real life specifically regarding atmosphere featuring stars, planets, clouds, and birds in the sky, as well as wind that blows leaves off the trees. Sound plays a crucial role in this atmosphere; almost all audio has been overhauled for realism, even including indoor echoes. However, the pack focuses on gameplay just as much as atmosphere. You can look forward to plenty of exploration and discovery even I, the creator, haven't fully mastered every mechanic after a year of testing so you’re likely to enjoy the experience and have a great time playing it.

What makes this modpack special?

The atmosphere here is incredibly realistic, and the sky looks authentic even without shaders. The caves are extremely dangerous and teem with hostile monsters. Since this modpack is inspired by Factorio, it features an equivalent to that game's "Biters" creatures that possess an evolution system and grow stronger as time passes. The pack also includes a pollution mechanic: activities like mining coal or running a furnace pollute the environment. However, the wind plays a role here, too strong gusts can carry the pollution away to another location though, of course, the wind could just as easily blow pollution from elsewhere right toward you. You can also travel between planets here, much like in the new DLC "Factorio: Space Age". Of course, you don't have to fly to them you can simply beat the game on the starting planet. However, venturing to other worlds allows you to craft unique new items using the resources found there. The Modpack is quite well-optimized and runs at 30 FPS on a fairly weak PC. But what is the main point of this modpack, anyway? Honestly, I’m not even sure myself. But I hope others enjoy playing it. The monsters feature more complex behavior and high intelligence, for instance, they are drawn to torchlight or the scent of blood. This makes the modpack hardcore, as even a simple descent into a mine can trigger an attack by a massive horde of twenty zombies. Therefore, it is not recommended for Minecraft beginners to play this modpack. However, as you progress, you can unlock firearms, as well as more powerful swords or chainsaws.

So, how created Factoriadel?

Well, it was created for rather amusing reasons. I, Vadim3000, created Factoriadel. I was inspired by the game Factorio and the sudden update to the "Scape and Run: Parasites mod" which hadn't seen an update in 2 years ago. Also, having recently replayed Resident Evil 4, I decided I wanted to put together a this modpack.

Is it worth waiting for an update? What will happen to the Modpack?

author's response

What’s next for the modpack? I’m not sure, but I spent a year creating and refining it, so in my opinion it looks quite polished compared to similar ones. However, after such a long development process, I’m very tired, and I honestly don’t know what else could be improved or added. But think modpack is perfect now. By the way, the modpack was created on October 5, 2025, and was in constant development so why is it only appearing on CurseForge now? The answer is quite simple: I didn't want to release a rough version, so I kept making changes and testing it. Finally, after a year, I am happy with the result and ready to release it to the public.
