Welcome to Extremo! This is a custom Fabric modpack built for Minecraft 1.21.1, designed specifically to play a hardcore survival world with friends.
The main goal of this pack is to improve performance and overall visuals while keeping the game feeling authentic and smooth for multiplayer sessions.
Here is what the modpack includes and how it changes the gameplay experience:
Performance & Visuals:
- Uses Sodium, Sodium Extra, BadOptimizations, and Iris Shaders so the game runs as smooth as possible with high FPS, while allowing support for shaders.
- Includes Dynamic Lighting, letting you illuminate dark areas simply by holding a torch in your hand.
- Entity Model Features (EMF) and Entity Texture Features (ETF) add subtle visual improvements and variety to mob models and textures.
Navigation & Quality of Life:
- Xaero's Minimap and Xaero's World Map help us keep track of where we are, set waypoints, and find lost items easily.
- Just Enough Items (JEI) makes checking crafting recipes quick and easy.
- Cinematic Zoom and Immersive UI make the overall interface cleaner and allow smooth zooming.
World & Multiplayer Mechanics:
- Immersive Portals removes the loading screens when traveling through Nether and End portals, making world transitions completely seamless.
- Hardcore World Reset helps manage resets easily when playing hardcore worlds.
- Essential Mod allows easy host-and-play multiplayer connectivity for private sessions.
