Summary of this modpack

Have you ever missed the old feeling that Minecraft used to give you? The feeling of wonder, amazement and exploration to unknown places or cool generation of the world around you, well no longer do you have to feel that feeling anymore as the pack I designed is aimed at taking that feeling and throwing it right out the window. With plenty of new features to give you countless hours of exploration and wonder of the various mobs and structures you will come across it also adds features to the 3 existing dimensions in the game as well as adding 3 totally new dimensions to discover and explore. This is designed to add so many features to your Minecraft experience its sure to keep you busy for a while without ever feeling it getting stale.

 

 

The Expansive Dimensions pack is a pack that incorporates a variety of dimension addons, new mobs, new quality of life features, new world generation structures and a large amount of new blocks to build and choose from. This is a personal modpack list so all of the mods are for 1.19.4 and are from various authors and various mods they created. I don't take any credit for the wonderful and amazing mods they created I simply wanted to create an easy to use link to download all the mods within this pack for easiest access to my personal server to play with friends. Feel free to use as I just collected a set of mods I find fun and entertaining to play with. 

 

 

This modpack includes the mods listed below and a brief description of what all the mods are.

There are a few different library mods that dont add anything extra they just help tie up various mods.

 

Ad Astra

Ad Astra! (translation: "To the Stars!") is a space mod for Fabric and Forge with a focus on technology, travel and exploration. We've got everything you need to become an astronaut: rockets, space suits, space stations and machines. Why not take a stroll on the Moon? Build a self-sustaining bunker on Mars

Go mining on Venus? The entire Solar System, better yet, Milky Way, is at your disposal!

 

 

 

Additional Lanterns

Additional Lanterns adds many new lanterns with different colors and materials! Lanterns can be turned on and off using an empty hand or with redstone.

 

 

 

Alex's Mobs 

This mod is an amazingly expansive one. It adds in about 90 or so new mobs that are both real life counterparts or they are purely fictional. What is even greater is EVERY single mob has some sort of uniqueness to them, they each have some sort of unique function, drop unique items or have a unique mechanic so no single creature is just there for aesthetic purposes. Also this mod has a animal dictionary entry for any of the mobs you may come across in your adventures through your world.

 

 

 

AppleSkin

This mod helps make the food/hunger mechanic as well as the health bar more intuitive. One of my personal favorites for any modded play of Minecraft. The features are fairly easy to understand, holding a piece of food will show a blinking effect of how much hunger a piece of food will replenish, running jumping or doing a variety of other tasks will show the loss of food, also will show possible health gain from food while holding it in your hand.

 

 

 

Bag of Holding

Bag Of Holding adds three different tiers of bags to help with your inventory storage problems. Simply open a your bag's inventory by right-clicking the item from your hotbar. But that's not the only way to interact! Simply use the bags from within every inventory, similar to Minecraft's bundles (but much better actually).

 

 

 

Bartering Station [Forge & Fabric]
Bartering Station adds one brand new utility block: Put in all your gold ingots, they'll be given to the piglins in the area. All the goodies they return will automatically be collected in the station block. Now add some hoppers for inserting even more gold and extracting your returns. Profit has never been this easy.

 

 

Biomes O' Plenty

One of the largest biome adding mods out there with over 50+ new, unique biomes for both overworld and to the nether to explore and adventure through while also adding in a large number of new flowers, planets, trees, buildings blocks and much more.

Block Runner

Block Runner makes you run faster on certain blocks, it's that simple. Mainly useful for paths since dirt paths now actually offer some benefit besides looking fancy. You can even set your very own speed values for any block or block tag.

 

 

Blue Skies

This mod adds a whole new 2 separate dimensions both with its own environments, it also adds in tons of new blocks, items, mobs, structures and biomes. The two dimensions are named The Everdawn and the Everbright, each has its own theme to them as well, the Everbright is a dimension is very bright, snowy and cold whereas the Everdawn is mostly warm and darker. Each of the two dimensions have two dungeons respectively for a total of 4 dungeons with the author claiming more to come in the future.

Crafting Automat

This mod adds a single block to the game: the Crafting Automat.

• Autocrafts a recipe when it receives a redstone pulse.
• Dispenses the result into any adjacent container.
• Stays true to the vanilla experience.
• Also works like a normal crafting table with persistent inventory.

 

 

 

Clumps

Clumps groups XP orbs together into a single entity to reduce lag when there are many in a small area. On top of this, it also makes the player immediately collect the orbs once they touch the player, so you are not stuck with a bunch of orbs in your face. This helps with mob farms and a variety of other XP orb based task.

 

 

 

 

Customizable Elytra

Allows Elytra to be dyed and have banners placed onto them, in the same way as leather armor and shields

 

 

 

 

Diagonal Fences

Diagonal Fences makes all kinds of fences able to connect diagonally. Works just like you would expect it to, so not much more to say really.

Blocks added by other mods are dynamically supported whenever possible.

 

 

Distinguished Potions
Distinguished Potions adds a bunch of very useful visual features to help you tell potions apart. No more hovering over every potion in a large chest to find out what exact potion that might be, now you can see everything at a glance!

 

 

 

 

Durability Tooltip

Durability Tooltip shows you the durability of an item!

 

 

 

Easy Anvil

Easy Anvils makes working with anvils much more enjoyable. Not only do items stay inside the interface after closing, also some annoying restrictions are removed. Also name tags can be renamed without even using an anvil. And don't forget about using formatting codes when renaming something: Stylize text as you like!

 

 

Easy Magic

Easy Magic makes it so that items stay in an enchanting table after you close the interface. The items are also rendered floating around the table block. Additionally the enchanting interface includes a button for rerolling the currently offered enchantments for a very low cost.

Easy Shulker Boxes
Easy Shulker Boxes brings some extremely useful changes to shulker boxes, making them usable from directly within your inventory. No need for placing the whole box on the ground for checking contents or adding a few item stacks! When you want to extract an item, easily scroll through all items in the box to get what you want. And believe it or not, this works with Ender Chests, too!

 

 

 

Elytra Slot (Fabric/Forge/Quilt)
Elytra Slot is a mod that uses Curios API/Trinkets API to add an elytra slot to the player inventory and allows the elytra to be placed into this slot. While the elytra is in this slot, it will grant the same flight capabilities as if it was in your chestplate slot. This allows the player to gain the benefits of the elytra without sacrificing an armor slot.

 

 

 

Enchantment Descriptions

This mod is exactly what it sounds like, Enchantment Descriptions is a light weight client-side mod that adds descriptions of enchantments to the tool tip of enchanted books. This mod supports all vanilla enchantments as well as most modded enchantments are also supported.

 

 

Enchanting Infuser [Forge & Fabric]
Enchanting Infuser adds a brand new block for enchanting your equipment. Say goodbye to wasting your well earned levels on random enchants, and welcome a world of choice with fair costs for you hard-working Minecrafters.

 

 

Ender Zoology

Ender Zoology adds a lot new mostly ender themed monsters to spawn at night in the overworld. Most of them are not your usual light hitting vanilla monsters, so be ready to face a new challenge after sunset!

 

 

Explorer's Compass

Explorer's Compass is an item that allows you to locate structures anywhere in the world. It is the sister mod of Nature's Compass, an item that can be used to locate biomes. With the Explorer's Compass when you use the compass it will open a GUI through which you can select a structure or group of structures to search for, it will also give info on the hud about the specific structure you selected.

 

 

 

 

 

Falling Tree (Forge&Fabric)

This mod will change the way you break trees. There are two modes either instantaneous or  shift down. With instantaneous you break one log and all the others above will come falling down whereas the shift down will shift all logs above the one you cut to shift down to take its place.

 

 

 

 

Golden Hoppers

Golden Hopper is a very simple mod that adds, as the mod name states, golden hoppers! They are just like a regular hopper but you can filter which item can be pulled and push. It tries to mimic the classes redstone hopper filtering design by only allowing one item to be filtered and you must also use one of the items in the filter, not just a reference. This mod is intentionally simple to keep the feel of a vanilla game.

Gravestone Mod

Every time you die, a grave is placed at your position. To retrieve your items just break the grave.

Every time you die you get an obituary. it contains the following:

• The name of the player
• The dimension the player died in
• The date the player died
• The coordinates where the player died
• An image of the player with its equipment at the time of death
• A list of every item the player had when he died

 

 

Incendium

Incendium is a datapack (packaged as a mod for both Fabric and Forge) designed to completely overhaul the Nether using only vanilla blocks. In addition to extending the Nether's generation height to 192, Incendium adds 8 all-new biomes and 9 new structures with new custom mobs, items and advancements. Terrain is also overhauled, with jagged mountains, twisting caves and much more. Incendium makes the nether slightly more difficult, but much more rewarding as well. Structures like the Nether Reactor, Sanctum and Forbidden Castle hide treasures that only the greatest adventurers will be able to obtain.

 

 

Iron Chests

Iron Chests mod has chests for the various metals in vanilla minecraft with varying sizes!

 

 

 

Iron Furnaces

Inspired by cpw's Iron Chests mod, adds a few different tiers of furnace.

 

 

 

Jade

This is a more advanced form of HWYLA (Here's What You're Looking At) so whenever you hover a cursor over a block it will tell you the name of the block and what mod it comes from, great for large mod packs.

 

 

 

Just Enough Items (JEI)

JEI is an item and recipe viewing mod for Minecraft, built from the ground up for stability and performance. It is amazing for modpacks as it will add extra blocks and its recipes for them as well. 

 

 

 

 

Mob Lassos

Mob Lassos adds some neat utilities when moving mobs: Now you can simply craft a lasso to transport most mobs elsewhere in your inventory! No leads or animal food required!

Nature's Compass

Nature's Compass is a utility item that allows you to search for a biome's location anywhere in the world and view information about it. It is the sister mod of Explorer's Compass, an item that can be used to locate structures. Similar features to explorers compass

 

 

 

 

Nether Chested [Forge & Fabric]
Nether Chested adds a very unique new chest: Not only has this single chest as many slots as a full double chest, but it can also store way more items in each slot! Every slot can hold up to 8 times as many items as normal of every stackable item. So where any other inventory just stores 64 items in a slot, your new nether chest can store a total of 512.

 

 

Nullscape
The End is a barren, depressing, bleak place. As it should be, and always will be. This is a datapack (packaged as a mod for Fabric and Forge) designed to overhaul the End's generation in a way that maintains this identity - a realm of utter desolation. Nullscape will make you feel tiny and alone in the vast expanse of the End. You against the void - nothing more than that. Nullscape boosts the End's height to 384 blocks, and makes full use of 1.18's modern features to generate incredibly varied terrain. You'll find everything from shattered islands to floating valleys to crystallized peaks. Nullscape v1.2 introduces a new terrain system based around materials science. Essentially, different regions of the End - on very large scales - have different properties and a different 'feel' to allow for almost infinite variation in terrain shapes. From sponge-like porous terrain to stretched alien landscapes to stacked rounded islands, you'll find new and interesting terrain no matter how far you go.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Permanent Sponges

Permanent Sponges adds some neat new sponges that don't just remove liquids, but also keep them away permanently! Ready to build some crazy underwater cities without ceilings?

Pick Up Notifier

Pick Up Notifier is very simple: Whenever you collect an item from the ground it will be shown in a neat little list in the bottom right corner of your screen, moving away after just a few seconds. Great when collecting resources, adventuring or fighting mobs to get a glance at everything you have collected!

 

Open Parties and Claims

This mod adds the ability to claim and to forceload world chunks, as well as create and manage player parties. It also gives server owners powerful controls over their players' usage of the mod's features. The mod's API allows other mods or plugins to easily interact with the parties and the chunk claims, both on the server and the client side. The mod already integrates with Xaero's Minimap and World Map mods. Make sure to update them to the latest versions.

 

Starter Kit

Starter Kit is a mod which allows players who join a world for the first time to receive items set in a config file. It's possible to set items to any specific slot in the inventory, to the offhand and to the armour slots. The mod can detect which players have never joined before. If another mod adds items, such as guide books, they can either be removed completely or added after the kit has been set.

Stoneworks [Forge & Fabric]
Stoneworks fills in all the missing gaps when it comes to building with various vanilla stone blocks! Finally there are cobbled versions, bricks, tiles, pillars, shingles and so much more for all stone variants. And there is more: most variations can even be crafted into stairs, slabs and walls. Everything is crafted in a stonecutter. What are you waiting for? Let's get building!

 

 

Structure Gel API

An API for simplifying the developer end of creating generated structures.

Structure Gel is an API mod designed to make creating structures easier on the developers, specifically ones using the jigsaw system. All code is open source and documented.

 

 

Terralith
Terralith is a datapack (packaged as a mod for both Fabric and Forge) designed to fundamentally overhaul the overworld with new biomes and caves. It accomplishes this without adding any new blocks, making it fully compatible with vanilla clients. Terralith adds nearly 100 brand-new biomes, as well as updating almost every vanilla biome with new and improved features. It also includes tons of completely new terrain types - canyons, shattered biomes, floating islands, deep ocean trenches and much, much more.Caves have been overhauled as well. Terralith's underground is a place with as much variation as the overworld above - there are multiple new cave biomes, new cave shapes, and even caves made completely of the alternative stone types. Terralith's style is designed to have something for everyone. There are plenty of realistic biomes like Yellowstone, Shield and Highlands - but also fantastical places like Skylands, Moonlight Grove and even the elusive Mirage Isles. You'll never run out of new biomes and new experiences to discover.

 

 

 

The Aether

The Aether Team presents the original Aether mod! Maintained and kept up to date for modern versions of Minecraft and fully compatible with multiplayer! The Aether centers around a dimension high in the sky, filled with vast skylands of clouds and floating islands. This dimension features its own new survival adventure, based around a basic vanilla-esque survival progression that features new ores, mythical mobs, and three perilous dungeons each with their own powerful loot items.

 

 

 

The Aether: Lost Content Addon
An addon that brings back, or gives life to a lot of scrapped, unused, and even concepted content and features from The Aether's past. This mod aims to bring back, and give life to a lot of scrapped, unused, and even concepted content and features from The Aether’s past. This gives even things that never made it out of the idea stage a chance. This includes content from Aether I, and even Aether Legacy itself. Any content that did not have any special ability or purpose will be given one, example being the Aerwhale King, which only existed as a name.

 

The Twilight Forest

Twilight Forest is a dimension exploration mod focused on adventure that will take you on a journey to meet strange creatures, exploring dungeons, and much more. Some of the major features include:

The UnderGarden

The Undergarden is a dark, subterranean world located deep below the bedrock of the Overworld. The flora here has adapted to their conditions and can grow anywhere, independent of light. Strange creatures call these dark lands home, and are plagued by the invasive Rotspawn, monsters originating from a chaotic, mysterious realm.

 

To enter the Undergarden, you must first craft a Catalyst.
You can craft a Catalyst using the recipe below:

 

 

Once you have made that, create a frame in the shape of a Nether portal using Stone or Deepslate Bricks. Activate the Undergarden portal by right clicking the inner bottom of the frame with the Catalyst.

 

 

Trading Post

Trading Post adds one simple block, which when used allows you to trade with all villagers in a configurable area at once in a single interface. The table looks really fancy and includes a neat animation when you come close!

Traveler's Titles (Forge)

Traveler's Titles is a simple client-side mod that adds RPG-like titles when entering biomes or dimensions.

Universal Bonemeal

Universal Bone Meal fills all the missing gaps where bone meal cannot be used, but really should be! All growing behaviors are rather unique, depending on the plant. New behaviors also work with dispensers and can be individually disabled in the config.

Visual Workbench [Forge & Fabric]
Visual Workbench makes items put into a crafting table stay inside. Breaking the block drops everything on the ground, just like you'd expect. Oh, and crafting ingredients as well as the resulting item are also rendered on top. Really fancy if you ask me!

 

 

Waystones

This mod adds waystone blocks that the player can return to once they've been activated, either through a Warp Scroll, a rechargeable Warp Stone, or by using an existing waystone to hop from one to the other.

It can be used in Survival Mode, for Adventure Maps or on Multiplayer Servers as an alternative to /warp and /home commands. Waystones can be made globally available for all players and a configurable inventory button can be set up to allow warping without any additional items.

 

 

 

When Dungeons Arise - Forge!

When Dungeons Arise is a massive dungeon generator which gathers plenty of dungeons and generates them randomly on your worlds to ensure glorious adventures and challenges. We have took a step away from standard vanilla structures, resulting in imposing dungeons to lose yourself into.

 

 

Xaero's Minimap

Unlike many other minimap mods, Xaero's minimap keeps the aesthetic of vanilla Minecraft, which helps it be a more seamless addition to the game. It is also the first rotating square minimap for Minecraft. Among a wide variety of customization settings, there is an option for a circle-shaped minimap and a separate setting for locking the minimap's rotation (using a direction arrow instead). The minimap can display the surrounding entities, including players, mobs and items, as dots with a custom color or as icons (usually heads). In addition to the default compass directions, you can place your own waypoints that are visible both on the minimap and in the game world. Waypoints help you find previously visited locations or reach specific coordinates, with optional teleportation. The minimap can display the surrounding blocks above ground and below ground (cave mode). These are just some of the features of the mod while there are many more.

 

 

 

Xaero's World Map

Xaero's World Map mod adds a self-writing fullscreen map to your Minecraft client. Works as a separate mod but is a lot better with Xaero's Minimap. The reason why it's available separately is to keep Xaero's Minimap as light-weight as possible. This mod is mostly client-sided. Installing it on the server side is optional for some additional features like world identification.

 

 

YUNG's API (Forge)

This is a library mod for some of YUNG's Forge mods. It's basically a collection of shared utility functions and data abstractions.

 

YUNG's Better Desert Temples (Forge)

The ultimate upgrade to Minecraft's desert temples! YUNG's Better Desert Temples redesigns vanilla desert temples to be way more exciting, adding a variety of new puzzles, traps, & parkour challenges. And of course, you'll get much better loot than vanilla's desert temples for your troubles! By default, mining fatigue will be applied to all players in the Better Desert Temple. Once you clear the temple (i.e. kill the pharaoh at the end of the temple), the mining fatigue effect for that temple will be permanently lifted!

 

 

YUNG's Better Dungeons (Forge)

A complete redesign of Minecraft's dungeons like never before. YUNG's Better Dungeons redesigns vanilla dungeons while also adding three new dungeons: Catacombs, Fortresses of the Undead, and Spider Caves!

 

 

 

YUNG's Better Mineshafts (Forge)

This mod completely revamps vanilla abandoned mineshafts, changing them from boring straight lines into dynamic, varied webs of tunnels. Find loot tucked away in the corners of abandoned workstations, or out in the open in a chest on a minecart.

 

 

 

YUNG's Better Ocean Monuments (Forge)

 A complete overhaul of Minecraft's ocean monuments! YUNG's Better Ocean Monuments fundamentally redesigns ocean monuments to be much more engaging and rewarding. Better Monuments are much larger than their vanilla counterparts and have completely randomized layouts. You'll find much better loot for your troubles, including Tridents and a Heart of the Sea!

 

 

YUNG's Better Strongholds (Forge)

 A complete redesign of Minecraft strongholds like never before, making them much more complex and exciting while still staying true to vanilla themes. There are over 15 different rooms, various types of tunnels and hallways, staircases, traps, and even hidden areas!

 

 

 

YUNG's Better Witch Huts (Forge)

An upgrade to witch huts! This mod adds multiple new hut variants that can spawn as well as a witch's circle. Huts now have better designs and more meaningful loot. Brewing stands may contain items hinting at some of vanilla's potion recipes!

 

 

YUNG's Bridges (Forge)

YUNG's Bridges is the first Minecraft mod to ever add naturally generated bridges to the game. Explore the world and discover over 15 different types of bridges, each with biome-specific variants!
