Expansion Zero

Expansion Zero is a sci-fi Minecraft modpack built around exploration, technology, automation, and just seeing how far you can take things.

Start out on Earth with basic survival and slowly work your way up to advanced machinery, automated factories, powerful energy systems, and eventually space travel. Once you leave Earth, you'll have new planets to explore, resources to find, structures to discover, and plenty of things that probably want to kill you.

🚀 Go to Space

Getting into space isn't something you can do right away. You'll need to work your way through the tech tree, gather resources, build up your infrastructure, and eventually put together the technology needed to leave Earth.

Once you're up there, you can explore different planets and moons and start building bases away from home.

🪐 Explore New Worlds

There's more to space than just collecting resources.

Explore abandoned facilities, strange structures, alien ruins, mining sites, and other locations scattered throughout the worlds you visit.

Some places are worth exploring.

Some probably aren't.

⚙️ Build Some Ridiculous Machines

If exploring isn't your thing, you can spend hours building factories instead.

Create, Mekanism, and Applied Energistics 2 give you plenty of ways to automate resource production, generate power, process materials, and keep your increasingly complicated base organized.

Start with a small setup and eventually end up with a factory that looks like it belongs on another planet.

👽 Watch Your Back

The further you go, the more dangerous things get.

You'll encounter hostile creatures and other threats while exploring unfamiliar places, so better equipment and technology will become increasingly important.

Don't expect every planet to be a relaxing vacation.

🏗️ Build Wherever You Want

Your base doesn't have to stay on Earth.

Build a huge factory, a research facility, a mining colony, a space station, or a small outpost on another planet.

Use the building and decoration mods included in the pack to make your bases feel like actual places instead of a bunch of machines sitting in a box.

📖 Progress Through the Pack

Expansion Zero has a progression system to help guide you through the different stages of the pack.

You'll start with basic survival, move into automation and advanced technology, and eventually work your way toward space exploration and late-game technology.

You don't have to follow the quests perfectly, though. They're there to give you some direction and goals rather than tell you exactly how to play.
