Expanded & Refined does not completely overhaul the entire game.

Expanded & Refined is a more difficult modpack that focuses on exploration. Explore dungeons in modified and amplified terrarain to find artifacts and spellstones that make you more powerful.

Every aspect of the modpack has been hand tuned to help newer players and experienced players alike. All options have been preset to minimize the amount of time spent adjusting values in the options menu. The more complex items found within the modpack have been given item descriptions explaining how they are used and obatined. The more annoying aspects of minecraft have been changed. Examples being, phantoms now only spawning during full moons rather than the third day of insomnia. The recovery phase of attacks can no longer be interrupted due to Better Combat being implemented. Potions can now be stacked up to 16 bottles rather than just one (with the exception of level 3 potions). Dynamic lighting and various visual changes have been adding for a more immersive atmosphere.

This modpack deals with the problems found within minecrafts progression and the issue of many mods not being useful during usual playthroughs. This modpack is on the harder side, and it can get even harder if you equip the ring of seven curses found within Enigmatic Legacy. I first started making this modpack for just personal use and to have a good time with friends and share to the community. After a year of development and delay, I finally got to finishing it completely.

Despite having over 250 mods and amplified or altered terrain. The perfomance is surprisingly good since I really made sure that this ran on nearly any computer; slow or old. This modpack will run smoothly on servers as well without too many gigabytes of ram (First time loading dimensions may be a little rough).

The server host that I used to playtest everything was Oddblox. It helped me out a lot while playtesting due to the low cost of their servers. Most other server host sites usually get very expensive and the only redeeming quality at a certain point is the customer service.
