Essentials Only+

Essentials Only+ is a small and lightweight Fabric modpack that only includes the most essential and basic of mods, resource packs, and shaders for Minecraft gameplay. This modpack is aimed at lower-end machines and people who just want to play Minecraft without ruining the vanilla experience and asthetic.

Essentials Only+ has been optimized to use the least amount of resources, and mods are curated to only need the basic QOL/light visual stuff. Essentials Only+ also allows easy multiplayer using a lightweight mod called e4mc. This mod removes the requirement for port forwarding and all that networking stuff.

Essentials Only+ aims to become a modpack where anybody can simply click, install, and begin playing modded Minecraft. It will focus on performance, quality of life and visual improvements like resource packs. Right now, Essentials Only+ is new, and needs more testing. Mods/resource packs may be removed or added to improve the performance or experience.

Version 0.2 progress: Currently testing different optimization mods to see how they impact performace. The goal right now is to have FPS go up and RAM usage go down. Version 0.2 will release on either Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

Mod List

AppleSkin - Mod that adds useful info to the hunger bar.
Clumps - Optimization/Declutter
Distant Horizions - Render distance increase (Off by deafult, not recomended for low-end systems.)
e4MC - Lightweight mod that allows multiplayer by sharing simple codes with zero port forwarding/setup.
Fusion (Connected Textures) - Connected Textures for blocks such as glass.
ImmediatelyFast - Optimization
Iris Shaders - Shaders
Jade 🔍 - Allows you to see what you are looking at.
Just Eough Items (JEI) - Lots of different features relating to items/crafting.
Mod Meny - Adds a menu that lists all the mods in-game.
Mouse Tweaks - Lightweight and UI mouse changes.
Sodium - Optimization.
Sodium Extra - Optimization/Addon to Sodim
Library/Config mods are NOT included in this list. These mods add no features and are simply requirements.

Resource Pack List

Motschen's Better Leaves - Makes leaves bushy.
Low On Fire - Reduces annoying fire effect.
Translations for Sodium - Allows translations for the Sodium mod. Allows non-english speaking users to enjoy the modpack.
Outstanding Outlined Ores - Adds highlights around ores to increase their visibility.
Fresh Animations - Changes animations in-game.
Keep in mind that Resource Packs are OFF BY DEAFULT and must be turned on in-game.
