1. Scope

This License applies to all components owned by the Owner within NiceLightCraft, including but not limited to:

• Source code and .jar files developed by the NiceLight team.

• Datapacks, resource packs, configurations, scripts, and quest systems.

• Bosses, NPCs, storylines, dialogue, and unique names.

• Structures, .nbt files, maps, and arenas.

• Textures, models, animations, sounds, interfaces, and images.

• Boss cores, icons, waystones, and artistic assets.

• The overall selection, arrangement, configuration, and organization of the modpack.

This is a proprietary license. NiceLightCraft is not open-source software.

2. Rights Granted to Users

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to:

• Download NiceLightCraft from official distribution sources.

• Install and play NiceLightCraft for personal, non-commercial purposes.

• Play in Singleplayer, LAN, or private servers with friends.

• Create one backup copy for personal use.

• Record videos, livestream, or publish gameplay screenshots.

• Earn revenue from videos or livestreams, provided that the modpack files are not redistributed and the user does not claim ownership of NiceLightCraft.

Permission to use NiceLightCraft does not constitute a transfer of ownership.

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited without prior written permission from the Owner:

• Selling, renting, or charging users to download NiceLightCraft.

• Re-uploading, mirroring, or redistributing the modpack, either in whole or in part.

• Including NiceLightCraft in another modpack, launcher, installer, or software package.

• Publishing modified versions, forks, remakes, or derivative editions.

• Extracting and separately using source code, textures, models, animations, structures, NPCs, bosses, story content, or any other assets.

• Copying boss core designs, interfaces, or distinctive content for use in another project.

• Removing or modifying author information, license notices, or copyright notices.

• Claiming NiceLightCraft or any of its content as the user's own work.

• Decompiling, reverse engineering, disassembling, or otherwise inspecting proprietary components, except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.

• Using proprietary NiceLightCraft assets to train AI models, create datasets, or operate generative content services.

• Using the NiceLightCraft or NiceLight name, branding, or related symbols to impersonate an official project.

• Using the modpack for unlawful activity, malware distribution, or actions that negatively affect other users.

4. Public and Commercial Servers

Using NiceLightCraft on a public server requires prior written permission from the Owner.

The following activities are prohibited:

• Selling access to the modpack.

• Selling items, boss cores, equipment, or gameplay advantages originating from NiceLightCraft.

• Using NiceLightCraft as the primary content of a commercial server.

• Charging membership fees to access exclusive NiceLightCraft content.

The Owner may issue separate server licenses subject to additional terms and conditions.

5. Personal Modifications

Users may modify configuration files for personal use on their own device or world, provided that:

• The modified version is not redistributed.

• Modified files are not re-uploaded.

• The modifications are not used for commercial purposes.

• Copyright and attribution information is not removed.

Any modified version remains a personal-use copy and may not be treated or distributed as an independent product.

6. Third-Party Components

NiceLightCraft may contain or require mods, libraries, and assets developed by third parties.

Each third-party component remains governed by the license provided by its respective author. This NiceLightCraft License does not replace, expand, or restrict the rights of third-party authors.

Nothing in this License shall be interpreted as claiming that the Owner of NiceLightCraft owns all third-party mods included in or required by the modpack.

7. Ownership

All rights to NiceLightCraft content directly created or legally owned by the Owner remain the exclusive property of the Owner.

Except for the limited rights expressly granted under this License, all other rights are reserved.

8. Bug Reports and Contributions

Submitting bug reports, ideas, translations, or other contributions does not automatically grant the contributor any ownership rights in NiceLightCraft.

By submitting content for possible inclusion in the project, the contributor confirms that:

• They have the legal right to provide the submitted content.

• The content does not violate the rights of any third party.

• The Owner is permitted to use, modify, and distribute the submitted content as part of NiceLightCraft.

Any separate written agreement shall take priority where applicable.

9. Updates and License Changes

The Owner reserves the right to:

• Update NiceLightCraft.

• Change its content or features.

• Discontinue support for older versions.

• Release future versions under a new or revised license.

A downloaded version remains subject to the license included with that version at the time of release, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Termination

The user's permission to use NiceLightCraft automatically terminates upon violation of this License.

Upon termination, the violating party must:

• Stop using and distributing NiceLightCraft.

• Delete all unlawfully distributed copies.

• Remove infringing content from any platform or server under their control.

The Owner reserves the right to request that hosting platforms remove unauthorized copies or infringing content.

11. Disclaimer of Warranty

NiceLightCraft is provided on an “as is” basis.

The Owner does not guarantee that the modpack:

• Is completely free of bugs or errors.

• Is compatible with every device, mod, or Minecraft version.

• Will not cause data loss, world corruption, or software conflicts.

• Will continue to receive updates or support indefinitely.

Users are solely responsible for backing up their worlds and data before installing or updating NiceLightCraft.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Owner shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the installation or use of NiceLightCraft, including data loss, world corruption, server interruption, or mod conflicts.

13. Governing Law

This License shall be governed by the laws of Vietnam, unless the Owner and another party agree otherwise in writing.

If any provision of this License is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Permission Requests

All requests involving:

• Use on public servers.

• Redistribution.

• Modification or creation of derivative works.

• Commercial cooperation.

• Use of NiceLightCraft assets in another project.
