Core Theme
EoBad starts you off the way vanilla Minecraft does — punching trees, digging a hole, scraping together your first tools — but every one of those systems quietly opens into something much deeper. Automation, magic, colony-building, and exploration all run in parallel, so there's no single "correct" path to power: you can climb Create's mechanical contraptions, wire up an Applied Energistics network, master arcane glyphs through Ars Nouveau, or grow a thriving settlement with MineColonies, and each path eventually crosses the others. The world itself has been rebuilt to match that ambition, with every vanilla structure reworked and several brand-new dimensions waiting underground.
Key Features
- Create's machine ecosystem taken to its extreme, with the base mod backed by over 20 add-ons — Ultimate Factory, Central Kitchen, Confectionery, Enchantment Industry, Aeronautics, Big Cannons, Railways Navigator, Hypertube, Diesel Generators, and more — turning contraptions into full production lines
- Three parallel automation trees to choose from — Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2 (extended with Mega Cells and Applied Mekanistics), and Modern Industrialization/Oritech — each with its own logic for processing, power, and logistics
- A complete arcane path through the Ars Nouveau family (Ars Creo, Ars Elemental, Ars Ocultas) alongside Occultism and Mahoutsukai, for players who'd rather cast spells than run pipes
- Settlement building with MineColonies and Structurize, letting a colony grow and staff itself while the rest of your base runs on autopilot
- Overhauled terrain from Terralith, Biomes O'Plenty, and Nullscape, plus 14 of Yung's "Better" mods rebuilding every dungeon, mineshaft, stronghold, and ruin from scratch
- New places to explore entirely, including the Bumblezone and Deeper and Darker dimensions, alongside a much larger bestiary of custom mobs and companions
- Deep base-building support from eight MCW decoration mods, Supplementaries, Handcrafted, and Refurbished Furniture, so builds can look as detailed as the machines running inside them
- A performance stack — Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, ModernFix, and friends — doing the unglamorous work of keeping a modpack this size running smoothly
