Enigmatic Horizons is a modpack that I created originally for me and a select group of friends. My goal was to take the mods available for 1.18.2 and streamline them to all behave similarly and make no mod feel like one is inferior to another. I also wanted to fix a lot of supply chain issues that happen within modern modded Minecraft, and that's how this modpack was born.

Features

Currently, this modpack has a lot of changes that I've went through, including:

- Adding semi-renewable sources of Oil
- Making all oil conversion processes create Pnuematiccraft fuels
- Adding all fuels to respective generators
- Adding extra Syngas Fuels
- Balancing ProjectE to be less broken
- Completely reworking Create Ore Processing
- Adding Alchemistry synergy with Mekanism
- Adding a Cinnabar Recipe

....With many more things on the to-do list! Such as....

- More recipes for Alchemistry
- More recipes for Immersive Engineering
- More recipes for Industrial Foregoing
- Compatability modifications to make sure that ALL mods can function together well!

I try to make sure to change things as much as I can with a goal of trying to ship an update 1-2 times a week. Once I finally get all of the features added that I want, I'll likely go to a biweekly update schedule; but there's still a ton left for me to do.

This modpack contains a wide array of Tech and Magic mods, but at the moment only Tech mods are being modified. I eventually will get to modifying magic mods to fit with my above mantra of streamlining things, but I'm only one person and I generally add or change things as people point them out or I myself run into issues with them. I also plan on adding some things exclusively for Multiplayer use so that servers can feel a bit more robust and players can feel useful to an ecosystem

Please also note that you may want to edit server configs before starting the server. The shipped configs are meant for playing with a group of closely knit friends whom all have a mutual trust in one another to not abuse systems or break anything. Obviously, if you plan on hosting a public server you would probably want to change options to reflect that.

RAM Requirement:

- 6-8 GB of RAM

Servers should run on 8 GB of RAM as well. If you're attempting to make a server with this modpack, make sure to copy over the global_packs file over to the server directory, or alternatively go into the file, go into required_data and copy the folder in there into the servers resourcepack file.

WARNING: KNOWN BUGS

Please note that I am a modpack developer, not a mod developer. There are very different systems to each, and its important to make that distinction. Most issues related to the below are out of my realm of control to fix due to inadequate knowledge on how to change the scripting of mods. Nevertheless, I would appreciate reports of bugs so I can address whether I can rectify them or not.

Currently, AMD Graphics users seem to have issues running this modpack without lagging. If you are an AMD User, I highly recommend Optifine, as that seemed to mostly fix the issue for members on our server once they went through and changed all the options.

Pressing the middle mouse button to sort while in an Industrial Foregoing UI will delete all Addons present in the Machine.

Disabling the Dimension Builder is highly advised on large servers. It will commonly cause servers to crash if it RNGs into the wrong blocks. I may be able to fix this issue soon, but its on the long list of things I need to look at.

You might see errors from craftweaker pop up when you join a server on more recent versions. For some reason it keeps sending errors despite the lines of code working as intended; I'll try and fix this spam at a later point.
