I know its been a while since last version, but lately I started thinking about this mod-pack again, so I decided to make another beta. I made a lot of changes since:

 

• Made some kind of player progression. Each survived day will make the game difficulty harder, like increasing max zombie spawn quantity, max zombie health and damage. Also added fast zombies, twice as fast as normal zombies and with half as much health on every respective day/stage. On every sunrise there will appear a message on chat (which I cannot seem to get rid of), meaning the player has advanced a stage. The player wins when reaching final stage (26th day for now), while having collected the "Virus Research", as for now it appears on random chests. When reaching the 26th day, if the player has read the Virus Research, the player will get "Extracted" (Its a custom trophy) and the game will end, showing the player Minecraft´s credits. If the last day goes by, and the player has not yet consumed the Research , then Extraction will not be possible. I have more ideas for this feature, which maybe will be added later. (See Development Goals in Description).

 

• Added Minecraft Comes Alive, will develop further in future.

 

• Changed World Generation to Default Lost Cities config, added more Highways to the world, more natural biomes spaces in between "City Spheres". Disabled Spawners, made chests more likely.

 

• Changed mod spawing so that zombies only appear in cities until the 15th day, not on rural places, will in the future change it so that some zombies spawn there, but not nearly as much as in cities. (They only spawn when its dark).

 

•Customized the "Recurrent Complex" structure called "Small Outpost" to fit the Post-Apocalyptic theme, now Villagers appear there, and the whole Outpost is protected by walls, which zombies cannot break. Players can trade there, rest, and find quests. Also removed some structures that didn't fit. Will continue to work with this feature.

 

• Added some theme fitting achievements. Will continue to add and remove some.

 

• Added zombie content related references in the Title Screen Splash Texts, see if you can get them all :).

 

• Removed Withers, Witches, and Endermen from spawning under any conditions.

 

• Changed it so that Leveling Up is easier, all skill point intervals are now 1, Disabled Building Skill Tree, and changed Agility and Farming Skills Requirements.

 

• Changed some of the loading screen tips.

 

• Disabled many keys that would open unnecessary configuration for the player.

 

• Made temperature dynamics less of a pain for the player, now torched and furnaces add heat, and lowered temperature change to players on seasons.

 

• Removed "Item Physics", player wont need to manually pick up objects anymore. Also disabled Quarks "glass shards".

 

• Many of the changes made on this update, like world generation and mod spawning related issues meant some kind of Performance Boost, reducing the Tick Lag I experienced while testing previous versions.
