Else Worlds is a modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1 set in a desolate world where a civilisation once thrived, and now only ruins remain as a reminder of this. The people who lived there were infected by an unknown virus, which spread the disease throughout the world.
This modpack has been created for LuckyWorld members so that they can access the Minecraft server.
THE MODPACK IS NOT INTENDED FOR SINGLE-PLAYER USE. Once it is complete, all the content will be made public and adapted for singleplayer gameplay.
A world of abandoned, transformed and interconnected cities, brought to life by ChaosZPack. A world where there are urban districts to explore and ruined buildings to discover.
Arm yourself with the world’s most unique weaponry – the lethal and effective tool for dealing with the infected in this world. Featuring realistic TACZ weapons, complete with detailed stats, movement and high-quality animations.
Over time, the infected mutate and adapt to survive, spreading the infection, becoming more resilient or developing unique abilities.
Thanks to Undead Revamped, there are enhanced zombies with unique and special abilities that you need to watch out for as you wander through the cities.
🎨 Visuals & Shader Experience
- This modpack includes the Bliss Shaders, which enhance the game’s atmosphere, but they are entirely optional and can be disabled in the Shaders menu.
- Bliss Shaders come pre-configured.
- Distant Horizons was included in the modpack to expand the view of the surroundings and allow players to admire the cities and the entire world. It can be disabled if you want.
🛠️Requirements
- Minimum: 8GB RAM (That's the normal amount for stable and good performance, if you have more RAM, I suggest to put as a maximum 10GB.)
⚠️Compatibility & Warnings
- Do NOT use OptiFine or any other performance mods! This modpack has already many performance mods and it's optimized, these mods are tested for guarantee the maximum performance possible, any other mods are not verified and could have visual bugs.
- I didn't add in the modpack any of the Lithium Forks because they are so buggy. Personally I suggest using the mod, "Performant" since this one is heavely optimized and has less issues than any other Lithium Fork.
- Do NOT install any other mod! like world maps or health bars. The idea of the modpack is survive in the most difficult way possible, if you cannot afford it then this modpack is not for you.
