Welcome to Element 27: Cobalt!
This is a WIP modpack that aims to be a gated progression modpack in the near future. At the moment, it has a blend of Tech, Magic, and Economy mods for you to play around with! (Modlist below) In it's current state however, it is mostly a Kitchen-Sink style pack, with a few progression elements placed in, but is on track to change.
The main plan for the pack is to be, as stated before, a gated progression pack. You will progress through certain mods to unlock access to others, while also being gated from Minecraft's vanilla dimesions. Certain requirements will need to be met in order to create the resources needed to progress to the Nether and the End, with resources from those dimensions be integral for manufacturing goods. Coins have also been added, with mobs dropping more as you progress through the pack. You can then spend your hard earned coins on Shipments from the Wares Mod, to buy resources, or to even sell your excess product in exchange for more coins.
Note:
This pack does contain Create, which will be integral to progression later on, so for those of you that are tired of Create, keep that in mind!
At the moment, Cobalt has:
Tech mods such as: Create, Mekanism, and Applied Energistics
Magic mods such as: Iron's Spells and Spellbooks and Ars Nouveau
Transportation mods such as: Eureka!, Immersive Aircraft, and Automobility
Visual enhancements from Distant Horizons (with shader support) and Complimentary Reimagined
And finally, a pseudo-economy system powered by CoinsJE and the Wares mod
Do note the because this is a work-in-progress pack, mods may be added or removed at ANY TIME. Any mod changes will be reflected in the changelog where applicable. Major removals/changes will be at the top of the changelog, and will warn you about any potential compatibility issues that may arise if you update.
