EconoWars Reforged, whose name is inspired by a Bukkit server I used to run, is a trimmed kitchen sink pack with a focus on tech and progression. This is my second attempt at a modpack, and this time, it features hundreds of custom recipes and gameplay tweaks implemented to provide the player a balanced, enjoyable progression through several tiers of tech, and some awesome magic, too!
From the get-go, you will notice you can't smelt ingots in a furnace. Your options for tools and armor are very limited, so consider a stone pick and hardened leather from Pam's Harvestcraft top tier for now. To get out of the stone age, you will need to build a Tinkers Construct smeltery! Once you have a rudimentary smeltery established, you will need to power it. To do so, get yourself a clay bucket, fire it, fill it with lava, and you're on your way! Soon you'll find yourself among the stars (on a rocket ship), gathering exotic material for use back on Earth.
The core progression will start with Pyrotech, then move to Immersive Engineering, then Thermal Expansion, and finally, Advanced Rocketry!
