Eclipse Protocol - IGS
A hardcore post apocalyptic survival experience focused on immersion, realism, atmosphere, and psychological horror.
The world is no longer normal. Society collapsed after an unexplained celestial event known only as “The Eclipse.” Cities are abandoned, military operations failed, and survivors have become as dangerous as the creatures hiding in the darkness.
You are not the hero. You are just another survivor trying to stay alive.
Daytime Is Not Safety
During the day, armed looters, rogue militants, and desperate survivors roam the world searching for supplies, territory, and anyone weak enough to kill. Gunshots in the distance are not background noise, they are warnings. If they find you, they will not hesitate.
Night Changes Everything
Darkness is no longer cosmetic. Nights are almost completely black, forcing you to rely on flashlights, batteries, fires, or whatever light source you can find. Running out of power in the middle of nowhere can become a death sentence.
Nobody knows what the Eclipse created, and very few who encounter its horrors survive long enough to explain them.
A Brutal Survival Experience
Resources are limited. Loot is intentionally rare and progression is difficult. Survival requires scavenging abandoned structures, exploring dangerous ruins, completing quests, and adapting to constantly changing threats.
Safe places do not truly exist. Villages, bunkers, military checkpoints, and outposts may temporarily protect you, but eventually something always arrives.

An Unpredictable World
The world itself is unpredictable. You may spawn far from civilization, inside forests, ruined settlements, frozen wastelands, deserts, coastlines, or directly into danger.
Every playthrough feels different.
Despite the brutality, you are not completely helpless. Survivors begin with a starter loadout to increase early game survivability, but equipment alone will not save you. Learning the world, managing resources, and understanding when to fight or run are far more important.
