Echoes of Empire about HARDCORE, zombies will get you no matter what< so you need to lean how to survive,there is also a lot of things to explore like dungeons, structures and different villages and even dimensions, different kind of mobs to battle with, random loot drop chance and level up system with skills, there is also tech and mechanics to build and learn about but before you must get better base and better armor and more health because there is new system of  health. you can always invite a friend to play with and Stick&Survive together. 2 or more is always better than one! be careful at night because at night the darkness fall all over the world and you cannot see anything. REMEMBER to bring some torches or night vision potions else your risking your self because there's also new kind of mobs that spawns at night. just you to know you wont get bored from this modpack so what are you waiting for >>> start your adventure now.
