This modpack makes Minecraft extremely hard, especially the beginning of the game; requiring you too do things such as make parts for your tools. The nighttime is also extremely dark; nothing of that to vanilla.
Hunger mechanics are also revamped so hunger drains over time, hunger goes down fast when doing just about anything, also when on low hunger you will get negative effects. Crafts are also harder.
