The hunt to immortality
Featuring Ex Nihilo: Creatio, Extended Crafting, Botania, NuclearCraft, etc..., this pack is a nuclear-themed tech-magic pack with hardcore survival against parasites (from the mod Scape and Run: Parasites) and an expert progression system which makes it even harder. If you ever feel you need a challenge, this is the pack for you! The pack also has a questbook for tasks and quests and a guidebook for more information. Starting out is very difficult. You only have 1 day before the feral ghouls will start to hunt you down along with other nasty creatures. In this time you will have to craft a void portal which will give you your own private void world to do all your tech and magic. Note: building a skybase is recommended BUT zombies can still build up with auto-generated cobblestone. There is also a difficulty bar in the upper-left corner of the screen. The longer you play, the higher it goes up. The higher it goes up, the more overpowered the mobs spawn. This changes how mobs behave, the type of parasites that spawn (some of them become immune to your weapons) and what items mobs spawn with. This pack also features techguns which will be necessary to defend yourself. Upon loading into the world you will spawn in a village containing 2 very important things: oak wood and dirt. Oak wood is used to make a pickaxe and sieves to get you started and dirt is used to plant trees of your own and get apples. These lead up to the ingredients of the void portal. From there you decide what you want to start with. Good Luck!
Changed Recipes
Dystopian Wastelands is a semi-expert pack. This means a lot of the recipe are tweaked to make it harder to craft and do things. If you don't like spending time on certain things then you are going to have a tough time!
