A simple pack designed to keep the spirit, though not necessarily the exact gameplay or look, of vanilla Minecraft while encouraging exploration by providing quality of life no matter how far you are from home.
To let you know what you're getting into, here's a small list of some of the more impactful mods and why they were chosen:
Biomes O' Plenty and Recurrent Complex add immersion and interest to overworld exploration, with sights to see all over the world.
Geolosys and DynamicTrees make resources abundant but spread across the world to encourage exploration.
Waystones and Ender Storage make sure that no matter how far one may roam, they always have a line home.
Refined Storage and TeamCoFH's Thermal mods let players kit out their base of operations to facilitate any playstyle.
Tetra offers a lightweight way to customize tools to your preference.
Important: There is one load-order conflict that can cause roofed forests to generate improperly. If you want to fix this, rename the .jar file for Recurrent Complex in a way that it loads before Dynamic Trees. Personally, I just add an underscore (_) to the beginning of the filename.
This modpack is designed, for the most part, according to my personal preference. Updates may be sparse or erratic.
