Join this pack with your friends to catch all of the pokemon that you would like. You can initiate trades, run your own gyms, or complete the pokedex. The sky is the limit with all of the options that this will provide for you.

Don't worry about distance between bases, as there are ways to fast travel yourself to any place that you would like. 

Storage also isn't a problem, as chest size is upgrade-able to whatever limit you would like.
