The ruins of the old world still stand in some places though; once usueful and helpful robots now turned ancient machines, guarding derelict structures without purpose; ancient buildings seldom dot the landscape, overtaken now by the beginning of more fantastical counterparts, introduced by the rifting, and new creatures now inhabit the world, spawned through the rifts in space. It has been centuries since the old world has ended, and it will be decades before the new world begins.
