Player Mobs move around the train better
Two fixes to how Player Mobs get around. Crossing between carriages, they now take a hop sized to the actual gap — the seams between carriages were tightened a while back, but Player Mobs kept using the big leap they needed for the old wider gaps, so they'd sail across a hand's-width seam. And a Player Mob that falls onto the tracks now works its way back aboard instead of being stranded: it bridges off the rails, builds a pillar up beside the passing carriages, and waits for a clear opening before jumping in.
- Cross-carriage hops are sized to the real gap instead of always being a full sprint leap
- Player Mobs that fall onto the track bed climb back aboard instead of getting stuck
- Boarding waits for a real opening, so mobs stop leaping into carriage walls
Adventure Item Names, Adventure Item Stats, Interactive Player Mobs and Ender Chest Persistence are now separate downloads
These four mods used to be bundled invisibly inside Dungeon Train. They are now normal required dependencies you install alongside it, so each one gets credit on its own mod page. If you use the CurseForge or Modrinth app, or the Dungeon Train modpack, they are fetched automatically and nothing changes for you. If you install the jar by hand, you will be prompted for the four missing mods on first launch and will need to download them too. Discord Presence is still bundled.
- Four bundled mods are now separate required downloads — installed automatically by the CurseForge/Modrinth apps and the modpack
- Manual jar installers will be prompted to add the four mods on first launch
- Dungeon Train's own jar is about 1.3 MB smaller
Armor bar shows your full protection
The modpacks now bundle Overloaded Armor Bar, on by default. Once your armor climbs past a full bar, the extra protection is drawn as stacked coloured icons instead of quietly running out of room to display.
- Overloaded Armor Bar ships enabled by default in the CurseForge and Modrinth modpacks
Armor keeps improving past 1.5 bars
Minecraft quietly caps a player's armor at 30 points — one and a half full armor bars — and throws away anything above it. Deep-run gear could promise more armor in its tooltip than the game would ever grant, so late-run armor stopped improving while weapons kept scaling. That ceiling is now raised, and armor toughness along with it.
- Armor above 30 points now actually protects you instead of being silently discarded
- Pairs with the Overloaded Armor Bar display so the extra protection is visible too

The train smashes through blocks in its path
Build across the tracks and the train no longer glides through your wall like a ghost — it breaks it, with the sound, the particles and the dropped items you would expect. Blocks that appear after the corridor was carved (a wall you built, a tree that grew, a structure the tunnelling missed) used to be passed through invisibly.
- Blocks in the train's path break on contact and drop their items; chests spill their contents.
- Only real collisions count — a block drifting through the open deck of a flatbed is left alone, and flowers and grass are brushed past.
- The track under the train is never damaged.
- Server owners can turn it off per world with /dungeontrain breakblocks off, or globally in the config.
