Dungeon Conquest

Dungeon/Exploration based modded experience that stays true to the mid-evil and magic theme, meaning (almost) no tech mods.

NOTE: I'm doing a playthrough of this modpack to test and balance things, mods may be frequently added and removed thru updates. Check thru the changelog to see what has been removed.

Dungeon Conquest

This modpack essentially changes the way Minecraft is played thru the addition of vast amounts of dungeons, progressive difficulty, and more dangers as you travel from spawn. Included in this modpack is familiar mods such as The Aether, Twilight Forest, The Betweenlands, and many more. There are tons of additions to terrain generation, with hundreds of structures to spawn, better biomes, better caves, and better dungeons. The contents of this modpack stay true to having a mid-evil/mythological theme, with very little inclusion of advanced tech. 

 

Gameplay Changes

Progressive Difficulty:

This modpack has many quality of life configurations, but to balance it out, there is progressive difficulty. Progressing through dungeons and defeating enemies will gradually increase a health and difficulty multiplier for other mobs. Sleeping, or not killing mobs will gradually return the difficulty to normal. Despite this, there will be multiple ways to increase your maximum health, such as from defeating aggressive mobs, mining, or by eating a vast variety of food items. Also, as you travel from spawn, more difficult dungeons and entities can be found.

 

Modified keepInventory:

Upon death, you will keep your hotbar, armor, and Baubles (accessories), but kept items will lose durability, tho they will never completely break on death. The purpose of this feature is to promote getting items that are very difficult to obtain, and/or personalized items, like with Tinker's Construct weapons.

After dying, the difficulty multiplier will be increased.

 

Weaponry:

As per most modded games, there is a plethora of varying additional melee, and ranged weapons added, some of which have unique effects. You can also find runes and spell-books to use to your advantage or simply do magic damage with. There are nearly 200 spells you can acquire, most of which come from Electroblob's Wizardry mod, which can be found listed here.

 

Everything listed is only the beginning of what was added. Install the modpack for yourself to discover over 100 added dungeons, and seemingly endless amounts of content from the revamped Nether (NetherEx) all the way to the Aether, and even all the way to the Twilight Dimension, and MORE!
