Welcome to the official DUCock Season 2 modpack!

A brand-new season means a completely fresh world, new adventures, improved visuals, immersive sounds, and exciting challenges waiting for every player. This modpack has been carefully built around NeoForge 1.21.1, while also supporting a selection of Fabric mods through the Connector compatibility layer, creating a stable and modern Minecraft experience.

Season 2 is designed to enhance vanilla Minecraft rather than replace it. Every addition has been selected to improve gameplay, exploration, building, combat, performance, and overall immersion while preserving the classic survival feeling. Whether you enjoy creating massive farms, building beautiful structures, exploring dangerous dungeons, or defeating powerful bosses with your friends, this modpack offers something for everyone.

Visual Improvements

One of the biggest goals of Season 2 is making Minecraft feel more alive.

The included resource packs significantly improve the appearance of blocks, vegetation, crops, mobs, beds, potions, ores, boss bars, and many other visual elements while maintaining Minecraft's original art style. Fresh Animations, Entity Model Features, Entity Texture Features, and various Xali's resource packs work together to provide smoother animations and a much richer visual experience.

Audio Experience

Minecraft's atmosphere has also received a major upgrade.

The included Skyrim-inspired sound pack and Immersive Sound modifications greatly improve environmental ambience, caves, combat, footsteps, weather, and general world audio, making exploration feel much more immersive than vanilla Minecraft.

Performance

Despite the visual improvements, performance remains a priority.

The modpack includes several optimization mods such as Sodium and other compatibility libraries to provide smoother gameplay and improved FPS while maintaining stability in multiplayer environments.

Gameplay

The gameplay remains centered around survival, cooperation, and exploration.

Players can automate farms and factories using Create, organize their inventory more efficiently with JEI, enjoy improved equipment management through Curios and Elytra Slot, and experience numerous quality-of-life improvements throughout the game.

Recommended Settings

For the best experience, we recommend:

• Allocate at least 6 GB of RAM.
• Use Java 21.
• Enable shaders through Iris (optional).
• Install the resource packs included with the server.
• Keep your client updated to match the server version.

Multiplayer

This modpack has been specifically created for the DUCock Season 2 server.

While it can be played in single-player, every feature has been balanced with multiplayer survival in mind. Teamwork, exploration, community projects, large-scale Create contraptions, and cooperative boss battles are the core of the intended experience.
