This is a project I've been working on for a while now. The original was on 1.16.5 but since almost all the mods ported to newer versions I decided to rebuild the pack on 1.19.2.
There are no quests in this modpack, nothing to really guide your progression. Play the game and discover things, then progress however you want. There's something for everyone here, with hundreds of new blocks to build with, dozens of new structures to explore, and tons of new enemies to encounter and fight. The Tetra mod allows players to craft their own custom weapons and tools, and many of the other materials in this pack are compatible with it. Craft a blade from the bones of a dragon, make a throwable spear that summons lightning bolts, modify a bow to shoot seven arrows at a time, and anything else you want. If weapons aren't your thing, you can use spellbooks and staffs (added by Iron's Spells and Spellbooks) to cast spells that summon zombies, shoot bolts of fire, conjure black holes, and so much more.
This pack also encourages multiplayer. I've included e4mc, a mod that allows users to host worlds and allow anyone to join, anywhere. Many of the enemies you'll find will be difficult to face alone, so having some friends with you will make it a lot easier. Also, the Lootr mod creates a unique inventory for everyone who opens a loot chest, so you don't have to worry about missing out on rewards when playing with friends.
However, this pack is not complete. I still have many plans for new features, such as:
- Custom classes and professions using the Origins mod
- Crafting recipe changes to balance out the progression of various mods
- Additional features for hardcore mode
- Custom structures using modded blocks already in the pack
If you find any bugs or issues with this modpack, please leave them in the comments, and I'll try to fix them.
Below are some tips to help you enjoy this modpack more, you don't need to follow these but I do recommend it.
- Loot everything, the world is dotted with structures to explore and enemies to slay, all of which can give useful items.
- Be thorough, many structures have hidden secrets. Look under floors and behind walls for even more loot.
- Craft a backpack early on, you're going to be finding a lot of items.
- Look out for items with Apotheoic affixes, they have benefits over regular gear. You'll be able to find more powerful ones in other dimensions like the Nether.
- Make yourself some custom weapons with Tetra, my personal favorite is the Claymore.
- There are enemies that are near-impossible to fight with ordinary vanilla gear, so get some upgrades before taking on powerful foes.
- The structures don't stop at the surface, explore caves for even more challenges and rewards.
