Progression Loop
Explore → raid lairs/ruins → upgrade with dragon loot → build a base → hatch your own dragon → craft Dragonsteel → challenge higher-tier threats.
Recommended Settings

Difficulty: Hard for the intended tension (Normal works too).

KeepInventory: Off (survival stakes), but play how you like.

Tips for New Survivors

Bring fire resist for red dragons and plenty of blocks for ice caves.

Use Manuscripts to expand the Bestiary (your in-game guide).

Early mount: try a Hippogriff before picking fights with stage 4–5 dragons.
