🛠️ Developer Notes

This project began as a personal rebuild of the original DokuCraft Light resource pack — restructured to work seamlessly with Fabric, Iris, and the Fusion Connected Texture System (CTM).

During development, the Java Edition build was used as a testing environment for resource pack staging, connected texture validation, and shader tuning. This process allowed for direct comparison between OptiFine-style CTM and Fusion’s Fabric-native implementation — resolving visual issues with glass, chests, and decorative blocks.

Once the resource pack pipeline and CTM compatibility were confirmed, the project was migrated into a CurseForge-compatible modpack, featuring all necessary core mods and optimized configuration through the official export system.

This modpack now serves as both a showcase and a reference implementation for Fusion-based DokuCraft setups — combining legacy aesthetics with modern Fabric rendering.
