Why another pack, aren't there enough? DnalasCraft is a set of mods for both parents and kids. Running a server for my family my kids always wanted much of what is in CrazyCraft. Unfortunately there are some mods I wasn't happy with my 8 and 10 yr olds playing with like MCA, not to mention both CrazyCraft and the VW launcher are poorly maintained and unstable.
Enter Curse, all of the major changes here and the ease of use of the Curse client to both make mod packs and help with keeping things up to date. I figured the easiest thing for me to do would be to make our own pack with the mods that I've come to love from packs like HermitPack, and select mods my children really wanted from CrazyCraft with me keeping an eye out for anything to mature or violent for a "Family Friendly" pack.

Here are a list of the things I will not consider due to the nature of the pack, and things parents can know won't ever be in the pack.
- Mods that add military style vehicles, machines and weapons. No AKs or M16s here.
- Mods that add mature relationships between NPCs or Players such as MCA.
- Magic Mods that have a theme of dark or blood magic.
I've been asked about lucky blocks/chance cubes. At the moment I am reluctant to add those since for the most part Families are not looking for a single action to accidentally destroy the world they worked so hard on. I might add one of those in the future depending upon how well I can tweak out the "bad" chances to something more benign.
I will eventually have a server pack version of DnalasCraft. Once it is stable and I will make it available here as well.
