Distant Horizons: Beginnings is an exploration-survival modpack, adding mods that I think would fit in with the base game quite nicely. Some mods in this pack include Create- which is a mod I absolutely adore, and gives everyday survival a little bit more spice. Twilight Forest, The Bumblezone, and Deeper and Darker add a more explorative aspect via dimensions, which is the one thing Vanilla sorely lacks. There is also a lot more blocks to build with, thanks to Builder's Delight. Dungeon Crawl, When Dungeons Arise, AND Dungeons Now Loading are also quite based towards exploration. But, no matter how you want to play Minecraft, there's something for you in this modpack.
