Dimensionals: End Edition
Start in the End. Build your way back.
A beginner-friendly tech modpack with a full quest system, starting on a void sky island in the End.
A Journey from the Void
You begin in the void between the End's outer islands and the main island.
With your own hands, you gather your first basic resources. Then you develop Mekanism machines to process those resources into advanced materials. You craft a set of gear strong enough to reach the End main island, defeat the Ender Dragon, and return to the Overworld.
Back in the Overworld, you gather lightning resources, develop nuclear technology, and forge the Miracle Matter — the final proof of how far this journey has taken you.
What Makes This Modpack Different
- You start in the End. The Overworld is not your starting point. To return there, you need to enter the return portal twice.
- Some power sources don't work. Solar Generators and Wind Generators are disabled in the End, and natural lightning for AE2 Lightning Tech cannot be obtained. Early-game power planning matters.
- Two ways to finish. Craft either the Creative ME Storage Cell or the Creative Pigmee Fumo. The Command Block needed for these items can only be obtained once, so you must choose one.
Core Progression
- Applied Energistics 2 — automation, storage, and logistics
- Mekanism + MekanismMoreMachine — energy, processing, and production
- Avaritia: Reborn — late-game content: Singularity, Eternal Singularity, Infinity Catalyst, and the Endgame Workbench
- AE2 Lightning Tech — optional development path
KubeJS is used extensively to tie these mods together, change recipes, and add custom content.
Quest System
Every chapter includes guidance and tutorial notes for special recipes and progression nodes. The quest book is designed so that new players can follow it without needing to check external guides.
KubeJS Changes
KubeJS adds automatable recipes for many biological resources, including Ender Pearls, Bone Meal, Bone, Rotten Flesh, Leather, String, Feathers, and Wool.
It also:
- Adds custom singularity recipes that are easier to automate and can convert to and from vanilla Avaritia singularities.
- Removes the Ultimate Stew and Cosmic Meatballs from the Infinity Catalyst recipe.
- Adds Brine and Liquid Lithium recipes to the Overload Processing Factory.
- Increases Bio-Generator output to 24k FE/t.
- Increases Solar Generator output to up to 8.8k FE/t and Advanced Solar Generator output to up to 105.6k FE/t.
- Adds new Redstone Dust recipes.
- Lets the Planting Station duplicate mineral blocks using UU Matter.
- Adds many Crystal Catalyzer recipes for bulk mineral production, similar to duplicating mineral blocks with UU Matter in the Planting Station.
- Adds Coal and Tiny Coal to Deepslate and Cobbled Deepslate drops.
Endgame Goals
- Creative ME Storage Cell — the standard tech goal. Very hard to craft.
- Creative Pigmee Fumo — a special ending. This goal targets a unique item from AE2 Lightning Tech, the plushie form of Pigmee. It is easier to craft and lets you skip part of the tech progression. It is simply a different ending — both goals count as completing the modpack.
