General Info for updating older profiles! Actual update news is further down:
Updated Scripts/Quests/Quest Loot/Structures/Resources etc so make sure to hit the updating button in the main page of the Questbook or run the update command in the console “/bq_admin default load” and after that’s done this one “/bqs_loot default load” manually. To update quests and loot!
Note: if it fails to update its due to Ender IO file protection code being better than twitches file deletion one so it can’t access the files to overwrite them. You will need to delete the recipes folder inside the ender io config inside the config folder of your instance. Or just the entire Ender Io config folder a new one will generate on update anyway. After that it works again until twitch updates the code. (Or make a new profile and copy past your saves into it). This is not my fault and I can’t do anything against this until the mod maker and twitch get together to solve this issue and it will happen on any pack using the newer Ender IO versions.
Removed the SRParasites Mod! It is a good mod and it evolved pretty well in the recent updates it got but sadly it doesn’t fifth into the pack as well and wasn’t as well received as I thought it would. It also messed a bit with the general spawning of mobs. But hey maybe once all the models in lycanites are fitting for the MC style, I will add that one.
Removed Bouncy Creepers Mod as they were just mostly for fun and not really bringing anything to the game other than some random noises!
Removing mods isn’t all that bad; it opens up room for new ones like this one: Added the Rats Mod! A very interesting little big mod adding new Hostile mobs to the world a new dimension, tamable improvable Rats and much more for you to figure out. Also I added some Quests regarding this mod located in the farming section, and a Rift Invasion for the Rats (holy they are fast and deadly so make sure to prepare some rat traps).
To have Rats actually fulfill tasks they need to be exempt for the mob grifing rules I added them to the auto command list for that for new players where all other grifing exempts are. For updating players you will get the command triggered when you complete the first rat related quest.
Made some tweaks so fling mobs have it easier to get to players hiding in sky bases during invasions. So make sure to add some turrets to your sky base if you have one (they also help on normal bases of course)
Some Difficulty balance changes, should make scaling feel more smooth and the early invasions should be back on it to be a bit more deadly and the later ones comply with the newer scaling o 400 a bit more as they were still set to the 200 max from a few updates before (not easier just to let you know).
Improved certain invasions like adding many zombie variations to the zombie horde invasion! Now there are not only standard zombies but also angry zombies, husks or other strange undead zombies like things.
Buffed Creepers they now do a bit more explosion dmg especially the Red ones which thrown tnt at you. Also Monsters near witches now recipe more varieties of Buffs, so kill the Mages first if they exist or deal with harder mobs.
Removed ElecCore mod! I have no idea how that was even in the pack for so long when not a single mod used it. It must have slipped in on one of my tests and I never noticed it. If removing it broke something do let me know, but I couldn’t find anything.
Rifters now more frequently come out of Rifts and seek out players to grab and drag away. They also teleport more frequently behind you so watch out.
Waystones now cost a bit exp to use as travel points. For every 1000Bkocks distance 1exp lvl up to a cap of 5 lvls so if you go for a 99k distance you will still only pay the max of 5 lvls. The Home Stone teleport stays free so you can freely use your get back to home Stone once it’s of cool down. This is a means of making other teleportation devices a bit more attractive in comparison. The Waystones still remain one of the easiest and fastest ways to travel around, before getting access to things like the Ender io porter/The Draconic dislocator/ or other magical means of Transportation which there are a lot of.
Fixed the Enchants on starting items again (how did they end up changing again)
Updated all updatable mods to fix certain issues and add new content etc.
Added some more small custom recipes! Some for convenience, some for difficulty!
Small bug fixes here and there.
